Situé au Palm Island Resort sur la côte sud-ouest du golfe de Floride. Il n’existe pas de ponts ni de chaussées menant à l’île, ce qui garantit des vacances relaxantes et tropicales.
La station balnéaire insulaire englobe une portion de trois kilomètres de plages privées et immaculées à l’extrémité nord de Palm Island.
Les clients se rendent sur l'île en ferry et garent leur voiture dans le parking de l'île. Le transport est assuré par notre personnel de la cloche et des voiturettes de golf sont également disponibles à la location pour les clients enregistrés.

Timing of red tide during the week put a damper on outdoor activities but we managed to have fun!

We got off to a bit of a shaky start in that our unit was not accessible until 4:30 pm when checkout was at 3:00 pm but we enjoyed a very relaxing vacation thereafter. One area of improvement would be the quality of food at Rum Bay and Leverocks. We'd be more likely to cook more next time or eat out in town.

A GREAT Girls' Trip !!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a terrific girls' trip (4 of us) to celebrate a 70th birthday. We have been to Palm Island many times over the years, but this was the first since Hurricane Ian hit. It was HOT ... but it's summer in Florida! The pool and Gulf were nearby and kept things comfortable. The resort was just beautiful, an amazing effort, no doubt, with new roofs, siding, etc. Our unit #3713 was fabulous, nicely updated, and very near Rum Bay/Coconuts. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to explore the island and get around. Christine, in the office, was super helpful, and communicated quickly when a need to change our rental unit occurred. She also left a bottle of wine chilling for the birthday girl! Long-term bellman, Dan, had retired, but the current staff was just as friendly and helpful. We only dined at Rum Bay once, but it was very good. We saw lots of gopher turtles, beautiful sunsets, a few dolphin, but not as many shells as normal -- think we played the tides wrong. All in all, it was a wonderful few days on a very special island ... we are already planning our next trip! Life is Good !!!

As soon as we got in the Unit, Maintenance arrived to fix a light switch which they could not do. They were there at least 30 mins. Could have been scheduled better. My wife opened closet door and it fell off the track almost on top of her. Some things need to be maintained better.

Week of Challenge

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we were thrilled with the unit we were in...everything was as nice as we were anticipating from online info and pictures. However, after a couple of hours had passed and after totally unpacking, we had a surprise visitor...the owner of the unit. We then were told we had to relocate because of a mixup with the resort scheduling! The resort was very apologetic and owner paid for our dinner that night so we were not too upset about repacking and relocating. The driver who helped us relocate would not accept a tip because he felt so badly about our experience. The following comments addresses the unit in which we actually spent the week. This unit was not well maintained and needed attention. Upholstery was spotted and dirty. Bed linens were clean but pillows and mattress were musty and not very comfortable. We were also asked to allow a realtor to show the property while we were there which was inconvenient for us. However, we loved Palm Island Resort and hope to come back again just not in the unit we were in this visit.

Gorgeous, Peaceful

It is a modest resort (i.e., not fancy or terribly expensive, sorta dated, but comfortable), which we LOVE, and the island is so beautiful and peaceful. A great place to unwind. We had a golf cart and toured the island, as well as kayaked...awesome! Walked the beach a lot, and saw 3 manatee right off the beach! The grounds are immaculate. Ate at the island restaurant every night while there and never tired of it! Wide selection of options. Condo was very nice, clean. Only problem we had was the fan on the screen porch didn't work and one of the blades had fallen off from dry rot. Also, would have been nice to have a second queen bed rather than twins, as we were two couples, and couldn't decide who would get the king bed and who would have to sleep in the twins! LOL! Otherwise, everything was perfect. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, in a spectacular gem of a resort! This was our third visit, and we WILL BE BACK!!

They were looking forward to going, but, until they actually absorbed what I had been raving about they were sold & wanted to stay more then just two nights. There is not one negative thing I can say about our stay. Every time I have stayed at Palm Island when I step on to the island, I feel like I’m home !
