Situé au Palm Island Resort sur la côte sud-ouest du golfe de Floride. Il n’existe pas de ponts ni de chaussées menant à l’île, ce qui garantit des vacances relaxantes et tropicales.
La station balnéaire insulaire englobe une portion de trois kilomètres de plages privées et immaculées à l’extrémité nord de Palm Island.
Les clients se rendent sur l'île en ferry et garent leur voiture dans le parking de l'île. Le transport est assuré par notre personnel de la cloche et des voiturettes de golf sont également disponibles à la location pour les clients enregistrés.

Social Distancing Heaven

Property was very clean. The beach is wide and you can see the gulf from the balcony. The car ferry to get to the island keeps those coming to the beach to owners and renters like us. Took a panoramic photo at 9:00 AM and not a soul to be seen. If you want a place to escape to without a crowd, this is it. Got a little confused on the Bay Rum Restaurant location. Google maps put it off the island but it's right at Palm Island Resort so we didn't have to leave the island to get to it. Good food. We simply relaxed. Rent a golf cart for a day, just to explore the island. Will definitely return.

We love the relaxed and beautiful setting and this year especially appreciated the fact that we could vacation without close contact without crowds. This villa was nicely furnished and well equipped with all that you need in the kitchen. There are a few things that need to be updated but you can expect that with any rental property. We saw the best sunset views right from the back porch! Great location too.

One of the worst mini vacations

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had heard good things about the resort but was very disappointed. Not only did the other guest staying with us find a huge cockroach in his bathroom and a spider but I found a spider on my pillow when I tried to go to bed. Also the lights went out in our building Friday,our first night there. I was unable to enjoy my night or do anything. I tried to go to bed since I was in the dark anyways and sweated horribly throughout the night until the lights finally came back on (in the middle of the night). It was a very uncomfortable sleep. I came to the island for a wedding which went well and was very beautiful. I do wish that I had just come over for the wedding itself and not stayed any nights here. I am aware that the lights going out was not the resorts fault but they didn’t do much to make sure the guests were okay or to even refund them for the night. Most places have back up generators or something to help in case of emergencies. This is supposed to be a resort for guests to stay at and should have accommodations for such. I could have stayed home for free in the dark just the same. Again I know that it was not the resorts fault the power went out but I wasn’t satisfied with the response to the power going out. I was very hopeful about my stay when I first arrived. I was told that I could get a discount if I came again but I don’t know if I would risk it.

The unit we stayed in was not maintained as well. We did not get the same feel at all. There was considerable beach erosion which we understand can not be helped but the huge dredgers on and off shore did not help.

one of my favorite places

Reviewer Comments: my husband and i have been going to palm island for approximately thirty years. we have enjoyed every time we go there. it's a very special place. my husband likes to take the golf cart and go to stump pass to fish. the beach and pools are never crowded, but then we never go during public holidays. the last place we stayed was a little dated (older appliances, needed a little paint) but still was wonderful.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights in a state of blissful relaxation complete with great food at Rum Bay Restaurant and Leverock's, work outs at the Fitness Center and even a Pirate show. The villas are lovely and well-appointed. What a fabulous place! The staff are great too!

Reviewer Comments: we hadn't been back to Palm Island in 10 years for personal reasons and were so worried to find things different form the wonderful experience we had before. But everything was unchanged and was simply fantastic. Only problem: waiting for the bell hop for 40 minutes on the day of departure was nerve wrecking.
