Ou tout simplement se pencher en arriĂšre et profiter de la vue depuis le porche et peut-ĂȘtre mĂȘme voir les oiseaux bleus quitter leur nid dans notre prairie.
A lovely property, it was perfect for the 4 of us. We had a wonderful view of Mt Washington with the snow and sun on it. We did experience a little difficulty getting up Switchback Way road when it was snowing.
This cabin located in Jackson, NH was a great location for a home base in the White Mountains. Itâs very quiet and the views of MT. Washington are beautiful. Keep in mind it is a bit rustic (spotty/no Wi-Fi, luke warm water in the shower, not the cleanest rental). We had 3 adults and there was plenty of space.
The house had everything we needed for a quiet week in the mountains. Kitchen is well equipped, lots of board games. A previous reviewer noted that the view of Black mountain is partially obstructed by trees in summer, I'll clarify that you can still see the mountaintop in the distance and the front garden in the foreground is absolutely beautiful.
We had a wonderful time in this marvelous chalet, with meals on the deck overlooking beautiful flowers, fields, and mountains, and all the amenities inside. Shirt drive to White Mountains trails.
The chalet was well equipped and remained remarkably cool despite very hot weather. There is a nice view of Mount Washington off in a distance. There are other houses within earshot, but it was very quiet at night. Cleanliness was the only noticeable issue as there were numerous fingerprints on the glass windows and doors along with some cobwebs. Also crumbs and crackers under the couch likely from previous guests.
Wonderfully thought out rental with all the comforts of home, even a beloved French press! The gardens, stars and porch make for a serene getaway. Will be back!
From the moment we drove in, relaxation and beauty consumed us. The chalet is warm, cozy and rustic with all that is needed for a simple refreshing get away. Being a foodie, the kitchen had all that was needed to cook with ease. This is a special place and grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The chalet itself is small but cozy and exactly as described. The view outside from the deck is beautiful but the tall trees cover the view of Mt.Washington (it may be better in the winter).
At the beginning of our stay, there was no supplies left. No tp, kitchen rolls, soaps etc. We had to get an instacart order delivered here for the next morning. Louise then made arrangements to have a few tp dropped off.
The other issue we had during our stay was trash. The property mandated that we had to drop off trash at the Jackson transfer station. We loaded up all the trash in our car and took it down to the station only to be told we cannot use the facilities since we did not have a resident sticker on our car. This has been listed front and center at the station and also in their website. I hope the property managers take this into account and not mandate visitors to "try" taking the trash to the station.
This house absolutely adorable!! It is so tastefully decorated, it actually looks like it came out of the Swiss Alps. My husband and I have stayed in a lot of home rentals and this has been the coziest quietest most peaceful one. From driving through a wood covered bridge, a cute little storybook town, and up a mountain to get her, it is all breathtaking. The view from the cabin is stunning.
The house itself is very clean. Everything was shoveled when we got here very well. There are more than enough hooks for everyone to hang snowpant, shoes, and jackets. The kitchen is perfect size, and I love how y'all the counters are!! Bathroom is very clean and newly updated. This house is perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!
We loved stayed at this house. So clean. The flowers in the front yard were so beautiful. Loved the convenient location. The art and Penzyâs spices and plenty of extra towels were great too. Had a great weekend!
Perfect spot for our weekend in the white mountains. The reservation, check-in and check-out processes were seamless. The place was immaculately clean. Loved the rustic chalet style. Makes you want to drop the remote and phone and pick up a book or play cards instead.
This chalet was perfect for us! It was centrally located to the places we wanted to explore, mostly on and around Mount Washington. We loved the quiet little town of Jackson. Beautiful views are everywhere!
My girlfriends and I just spent a glorious 3 day weekend away from our families to recharge and soak up that amazing mountain air. We summited Mt. Washington and then soaked up Jackson falls the following day. What a great little home away from home. Louise was very easy to get a hold of and everything at the cabin was exactly as we had hoped.
We hope to come back and visit in the winter. Thanks again!
We had a very nice stay .... quality furnishings, well stocked kitchen (didn't expect all of the spices and oils to be at our disposal -- nice touch). The gas fireplace worked out well and preferred it to the electric heat.....the view was terrific. We did have a difficult time finding the place in the dark, but once there, it was easy to make it homey.
The only wishful thought we had was how sitting in a hot tub looking out at Mount Washington would have made our stay magical :).
The owner was very responsive to us....Thank you, Louise.
We had a great stay over New Year's Eve with our two children. The chalet is located in the best location, right near Black Mountain and Whitney's Inn. The house was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and comfortable. We had all supplies we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed the board games in the family room. The fireplace kept us warm every day after skiing. The best part was that sheets and towels were included in the rental! We woke up to snow and the driveway had already been plowed. This chalet won't disappoint!
This place was just about perfect for us (a family of four with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old). Cozy and cute with a spacious front porch on which to eat dinner and watch the butterflies, birds and (come dusk) bats. There's some nice outdoor space around the house too (including raspberry bushes!) and a great view of Mt. Washington. We intend to come back!
Loved the house, we had a wonderful time. Very cozy and well set up for a small family. Wonderful views of Mt. Washington. Only about 7 minutes outside of downtown Jackson.
