Nice place!

Really nice place, only downside was the house smells like sewage after heavy rainfall and requires a lot of airing out to get rid of it.

First of all Mauricio, the host made it amazing with all of his planning. He was always available and willing to help. The location was perfect to access all of the fun activities. Would highly recommend working with Mauricio if traveling to Tamarindo,.

Dream come true

The best part of our villa experience was working with Mauricio of the concierge team! He made planning our family vacation a dream and was always available to help and recommend. The house was beautiful and perfectly appointed. A gas golf cart is a must for this home on a hill. Lovely sunset view and great safety features. Don’t think twice about this one!

Great house, great location

Lovely house. Housekeepers kept very clean attending every other day. Great location, short uphill walk from town, easily manageable. Pool had a leak which meant it was a bit low in water level but still useable. Tree above the pool meant it needed lots of cleaning out, but net was provided to enable us to do this regularly. Sun loungers were worn and torn and could do with replacing. But still very functional! Construction work happening near by, but was not too loud and we were offered a discount for the disruption. We would highly recommend and would stay again!

Outstanding!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in Tamarindo, which is in big part attributable to Tamarindo Luxury and Mauricio. So very helpful in setting up excellent excursions, dining options and transportation. From arrival to first dinner, the Rio Celeste/Frog’s Paradise tour with Elvis (LOVED ELVIS from No Limit Excursions - cannot say enough), estuary tour to sadly our departure. Casa Uno Mas did not disappoint - close enough to town yet quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature, very comfortable accommodations and plenty of space for three couples. Mauricio was very responsive and assisted with anything we needed. Hands down one of our greatest trips and will definitely return.

Disappointing

The house was beautiful, great location. Many safety concerns for young children. One of the AC units in the second level bedroom had a horrible smell, like sewage, whenever the unit ran for a couple of hours. The smell would get through the entire house. We were not able to use unit and bedroom had no screens on window or patio door to air the room out. We contacted property management throughout stay and they did have technicians come but the smell continued when the unit was left running.

Convenient location, great welcome, close to the beach and downtown life

I recently stayed at a VRBO in Tamarindo, Costa Rica and overall, I had a great experience! I would give this stay a 5-star rating for several reasons, including the spaciousness, good location close to the beach, and the warm welcome we received from the hosts. The location of the VRBO was perfect for us. It was close to the beach, which was great for morning walks and watching the sunset in the evenings. The location was also far enough away from the busy town life, which gave us a sense of peace and relaxation during our stay. The VRBO was very spacious, which allowed my family and I to spread out comfortably. The rooms were especially cool and provided a comfortable sleeping environment. However, we did find that other parts of the home were very hot and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to spend much time in those areas. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and were able to adapt by spending more time in the cooler parts of the home. What really made our stay exceptional was the warm welcome we received from the hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating, providing us with helpful information about the area and giving us recommendations for things to see and do during our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this VRBO in Tamarindo, Costa Rica to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Despite the hot and uncomfortable areas of the home, the location, spaciousness, and warm welcome from the hosts make it a truly exceptional place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
