Vacation Villa 5 minute walk to King St, in the heart of downtown Charleston. This tropical oasis offers sleek design, soaring ceilings, open first floor kitchen & living room, and spacious bedrooms with en-suite spa bathrooms. The Palm Club offers a tranquil outdoor patio, filled with fountains, palm trees, and plenty of furniture, for all of the Palm Club guests to enjoy. A stay at the Palm Club also includes membership to downtown's only private Lifestyle & Pool Club, The Wonderer!

The Space:
The 'California Palm' is part of the Palm Club - a collection of 7 vacation villas, each with tropical setting.

The 'California Palm' at The Palm Club accommodates up to 12 guests between 4 bedrooms, 4 baths.

Town & Island Co. is now happy to offer, through partnership with The Wonderer, all guests 25 and up access to Charleston’s premier global-inspired lifestyle club. This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the peninsula.

Refresh and relax at the Jr. Olympic pool complete with pool-side cabanas or savor the onsite eateries offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and trendy cocktails. Guests can also enjoy an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost.

Town & Island Co. welcomes all our furry companions. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s), so we can add this charge to your booking. Please note: If upon check out, we see evidence of an unregistered pet, the $75 pet fee will be taken out of your SD authorization hold.
We ask guests traveling with their pets to not allow them on any furniture to maintain the quality and cleanliness of our human centered spaces. **no pets on furniture and beds**

*Severe Weather Policy*

Our severe weather and Extenuating Circumstances: Hurricane Policy is as follows:

If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC specifically for the county in which your property is located for the dates of your stay, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect. In this case we WILL refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest and we shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation.

However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued. This is the case even if the guest chooses to cancel or travel is disrupted due to the storm.

Additionally, if there is adverse weather phenomenon outside of Charleston or SC (ie. other regions of the US or abroad) during the dates of the guests' stay which hinders the guests from traveling to the property, the standard cancellation policy will still apply. Therefore, a refund will NOT be issued.

***ATTENTION***
Hurricane season is during the months of June-November. During this time we HIGHLY recommend guests research and purchase travel insurance.

Perfect Location in the Holy City

California Palm was an excellent choice for our family to stay during our recent trip to Charleston. It was in an excellent location, just a few blocks off King Street, with a good coffee shop (Bad Bunnies) and a few restaurants within very short walking distance. It was perfectly clean, had great amenities, and plenty of spots to relax and watch a movie after a long day of sightseeing. Very safe neighborhood. We had two teens in our group who were able to walk around by themselves with no concern. One of the best VRBO properties we've had.

Liked the condo. Very clean. Excellent beds, towels and kitchen. Didn’t realize it was on the second floor with 22 steps. People underneath us were very loud and kept us up until 2am.

Great property in a fantastic location. Walkable to all the downtown sites and shops. Lots of open space to gather and enjoy family time. The parking is very limited however and super tight

Our time in Charlston

We loved our stay in this beautiful unit! It was great having 4 bedrooms each with private bathrooms! The kitchen was stocked with all the supplies we needed for light cooking and the supplies were all in good condition. Plus it was great having 2 washers and dryers! It was perfect for our family to be together since we all live in different states! Wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Charleston!

Great vacation location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The hosts were very attentive and eager to help. The rooms were large and well accommodated. There were 8 of us and we all were very happy and will definitely look for their other properties in the future!

The place is exactly as described. You can walk to lots of food venues and shopping and just a short drive to all the beaches. Street parking was actually even better than on site parking. Great spot to visit Charleston!

Spacious & Beautiful California Style Villa

This is my first VRBO stay! Impressive! Perfectly situated within walking distance to King Street where everything happens. The pastel colors in the Villa was warm & inviting. The family room with 3 long couches was ample serving 7 adults and 1 dog. The Bright and functional kitchen lacked nothing. Plenty of dinnerware, mugs, pots & pans, gadgets & complimentary coffee basket. The long bar was great for our computers and snacks. Every room had a ceiling fan & there was 2 washing machine & 2 dryers which was a great asset to us. All 4 bedrooms had a private bath, were spacious and the beds were amazingly comfortable!!! No problem falling asleep! We did have a little problem with the front door as you know. A short communication problem with Zack in the beginning, all rectified. And parking a suburban in your parking area with one way in and having to back up into the street was left to the men in our party. Otherwise we all were comfortable and enjoyed staying there! A wonderful family vacation.

Fantastic location!

Our stay was fantastic and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. The location is a few blocks from King St with restaurants and bakeries a few steps away. The showers were large and fabulous as well as the family room and kitchen. When a message was written a response was received quickly.

Little gem just off King Street

Our family had a great time in Charleston, in great part thanks to this unit. Everyone had their own bedrooms with TVs and a nice big kitchen and living room space. The location was absolutely perfect to walk through Charleston as well as really easy to get out of town to see all the sights (Patriot’s Park, the Plantations, etc.).

Very nice place, great location. The only complaints were that some of the bedrooms were lacking closet/dressers to unpack clothes. Also no major networks on the cable so we couldn't watch the NCAA hoops games.

Great Location, Comfortable Beds & Responsive Staff

Great location within walking distance of King St restaurants, shops and bars. The condo is just as pictured on the site. All the beds were really comfortable, and the bathrooms were cleaned well. We did not cook but there were plenty of dishes for our quick snacks. The management staff was very responsive. Every question was answered quickly even before booking this unit. No complaints and I would stay here again on my next Charleston visit.

Great unit and great location

This is our second time staying with town & island co and we would highly recommend any of their properties to anyone! Our unit was exactly as described with 4 bedrooms with king or 2 twin beds upon request. Each room with a spacious en suite bathroom. One bathroom does connect to the living room/kitchen as well as the bedroom. The units location is also incredible. We walked everywhere the entire weekend. Will definitely look to stay with them again!

Great little place for an extended family

Perfect place in great location within a walking distance to the restaurants. Place is very clean, and well equipped. The only slight issue was a weak Wi-Fi, we had to hotspot to watch TV. But we would stay again for sure! Definitely recommend!
