Spacious, bright and beautiful. This craftsman style home could be your home away from home when you visit our area. The property resides in a quiet neighborhood in the coveted Cathedral District of Joliet IL
Near I55 and I80 highways, and on;y a couple miles from the Metra train station, there is fast and easy access to anyplace you wish to go.

Cleaning: Before each guest arrives, our home is professionally cleaned and thoroughly sanitized for your safety and peace of mind.
Perfect for vacationers, families, and business travelers. Main Floor: 2 sleeper sofa couches, large dining table seats up to 10, 55" HDTV, dedicated work desk, fully stocked kitchen, with stone counter tops and all new stainless steel appliances, hall closet with high chair and pack n play crib, children's toys. Enclosed 3 season front porch, enclosed rear porch and open rear deck,
2nd floor : 2 bedrooms with queen beds, hallway full bath.
Lower level: Large king bedroom, sleeper sofa, upholstered chair, full bath, laundry room with full size washer / dryer plus utility sink.
All bedrooms have, blackout curtains and 4KHD tv's!

We are walking distance to many great restaurants. Near the Metra train station to Chicago, The Rialto Theatre, Louis-Joliet Shopping Mall, St. Raymond's Cathedral, Joliet Slammers Baseball, Harrah's Casino, Haley Mansion, Historic Joliet Prison where Blues Brothers movie was filmed. Also Chicago style pizza!

Awesome house!

We loved the house! It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and worked out great for our visit to Lewis University. It appears to be newly remodeled and updated. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of supplies for 12 people. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

Convenient and clean

House was perfect for parents, two teens, grandpa and our miniature schnauzer for an Easter weekend visit. Neighborhood is safe and cute - very walkable with the dog. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Good communication from property manager at every step along the way. Don’t miss grabbing Home Cut Donuts in the morning!

Choose this Rental :)

I have stayed in many rentals for vrbo and this one was my favorite. It had lots of areas for storage (kitchen, bathroom, closets) and plenty of hooks. The house is lovely and I was able to relax as if it was my own house. Six adults stayed here and I didn't feel crammed. However, the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The kitchen items were in excellent shape. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. If you're trying to decide where to stay, this one is a winner!

Visiting the area for family

We needed a space in the area as a center spot to leave our pups while with family. The house was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable, warm and inviting. Would stay again!

Medical Stay

My daughter goes to school in Chicago and needed surgery but we live in Holland, MI. This house was perfect for us to all stay together during this time and we could take care of her as a family. We got to bring the dog which helped ease anxieties and stress! The neighbor was lovely and I enjoyed my breaks from nursing by walking the dog. Thank you so much!!!! 😊

Beautiful Home

This home is more lovely than what you see in the pictures. It’s decorated so beautifully. It also has updated appliances and coffee is provided! All the beds were comfortable and we all slept soundly. There is a nice big table in the dining room to eat and play games on. I would not hesitate to give this home a 5-star rating!

The home is nicely updated and very clean and welcoming. The neighborhood was older but very well kept leaving us feeling safe and happy with the location. The check in process was great and checking out was easy too.

Pictures don’t give the place justice. James’ place is beautiful and pleasantly surprising :)

We had to find a place to stay while my son had surgery near by. James was very welcoming via messaging and so much more. The house is very nice, clean, well decorated and renovated all the way down to the beautiful artwork throughout. (Take time to view it while you’re there!) We enjoyed the master suite the most, but this house has soo much space in it! As I told James as we checked out, it was truly a warm and welcoming home away from home for us, especially my kiddo who spent a day there recovering from surgery. To have a 7 yr old feel at ease while in surgery recovery says something. He (us included) didn’t want to leave. The neighborhood is quiet, sleepy, and there are some great restaurants nearby that we were able to enjoy. We even got to watch the superbowl while there :) We will definitely bookmark the listing for future stays. It’s so close to Chicago if you’re looking for a great spring break trip with family! Plenty of space, amenities and more. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, but we’ll take our 3 days :) Thank you again, James!

Perfect stay for our family!

My husband and I stayed with our son, daughter in law and 3 year old grandson. The house is very spacious with a wonderful living room and space for playing, as well as a fantastic dining table that easily seats 8 people. We had local family come by and enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the kids play in the backyard, and took advantage of the well outfitted kitchen to cook family meals. The bedrooms were spacious with walk-in closets, and the laundry came in very handy. We walked in the beautiful neighborhood to a nearby park to play and fly kites, and we got many compliments on the house from our visitors. Everything was sparking clean, and we would definitely stay here again!
