River views & salty breezes from the deck nook bistro table at this sunny second floor apartment suite freshly renovated in 2022. Sleeps two in eco certified memory foam queen bed with bathrobes and eye masks included for lounging & snoozing comfort. Small office or dressing area located off the bedroom also has petite daybed sized for a young child. Retro galley kitchen with dishwasher, blender, toaster & microwave, a marble tile bath, and decorative fireplace, and Klipsch bluetooth speaker.⁣⁣
⁣Car not necessary from this spot in the heart of Mystic - a Foodie getaway.The apartment is above James Beard-nominated chef and Esquire's "Best Bars" cocktail lounge & restaurant. The renowned Oyster Club & Treehouse are next door, as well as the acclaimed Sift Bakery.
⁣Guests have access to the entirety of the"Ashby Randall" apartment as well as deck and yard shared with two other apartments in the building.⁣⁣

A sustainable short-term rental choice, the apartment is in a charming downtown commercial district and shares a building with two other apartments as well as the restaurant/lounge and bar. Ashby-Randall and Shepherdess, another one of our listings, have entry doors on the same level of the deck and could be a nice opportunity if more than one unit is needed for guests.⁣⁣

**Despite plenty of sound proofing, sometimes goings-on from Dive and Port can be heard in this apartment on particularly boisterous evenings. Why not come down and join the fun!**

This was our second time staying here. It is a lovely apartment. Great seating, great amenities. The bathroom is roomy and well-appointed. The location is perfect for all of the restaurants and stores in the area.

Great Weekend!

The apartment is very well-appointed. Just about everything we needed was there. Lots of seating, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Easy walk to everything in town. I had missed in the listing that it is above a restaurant, but it worked out fine. I noticed the landlord even supplied a sound machine(I always bring my own!) and earplugs! Great place!

Fun getaway

The place was spacious with everything you need. The only complaint would be the music from the restaurant/bar below but they do supply ear plugs and a white noise machine to help out.

Wonderful. We didn’t mind the music at all and it was quiet after 10. Not at all an issue. The location and quality of the apartment was amazing . Highly recommend!

Best New Years!

This property was absolutely gorgeous! So much time was put into every detail and design element to make it such a glamourous and classy stay. And the location! We walked everywhere even in the cold! The surrounding food and restaurants were exquisite and shout out to the Sea Queens who did a fabulous New Year's Eve drag show at the Port of Call downstaiirs!

Fabulous location with a view!

We were very impressed with this booking! Apartment was very clean, looked remodeled within the past few years. If you are someone that goes to bed early, this isn’t an ideal place for you. There is a jazz bar below the property
 and they sounded great live! I think they stopped playing around 11:15 that night.

Cozy & Comfortable

Description and pictures of the property was accurate, host was accommodating and communicative. Bedding was comfortable and cozy, noise was not an issue for us, as the Port of Call closes at 10pm and the white noise machine works great! If watching TV is a must, I would suggest to bring a laptop or ipad. Location was perfect allows you to walk to all the Mystic down town shops, attractions and restaurants, beach is only a 30min drive. Would definitely consider staying here again! Romantic getaway

What a beautiful and lovely property. The small apartment had everything you could need for the weekend. The location is absolutely unmatched, and we didn't move the car once we parked it at the beginning of our stay. Everything is less than 10 minutes' walk except for larger attractions like the aquarium or Old Mystic Village village. Be warned, however, that there is a lot of street noise like ghost tours and bar goers. The music was fine it was the people talking in the parking lot that was the loudest. As my fiance and have lived in the city, it wasn't too big a deal for us, and we slept well. I could see this being an issue for certain people, however. Would absolutely stay again at this same location!

Great decor and location; way too noisy (no sleep!)

the property was beautifully appointed and in a great location - super close to great food and everything downtown Mystic has to offer but the walls and floors are paper thin and the loud music from the bar downstairs and its patrons outside until 2:30-3:00 am made it impossible to sleep which overshadowed all of the great things about the property; also there is no way to lock the door from the inside and one morning I woke up to an open door which was super scary; communication about check-in also never came to me so I had a lot of questions for the host ... this is NOT a great place to stay as a family, best suited for people who plan to attend the bar downstairs until the wee hours of the morning

Solo Weekend Retreat

I booked this property for a 3-day weekend, as I was in need of a change of scenery to inspire me to do some writing projects I've been putting off. It was absolutely perfect for my purposes. I arrived on Thursday evening, parked my car in the designated spot, and didn't move it until I checked out on Sunday. The location was wonderful - very easily walkable to restaurants and shops when I needed a break from my writing. The apartment itself was comfortable and inviting, with great natural light and casual-elegant furnishings. The bed was very comfortable - I slept well even with the little bit of noise from the bar downstairs. The kitchen was well-equipped and charming. I enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning to drink my tea with a lovely view of the river. The only thing the apartment was missing was a desk chair in the office, but I ended up doing my work at the kitchen table instead which worked out well.The host was very responsive when I reached out with questions, both before and during my stay.All in all, I had a lovely and productive retreat. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

So impressed with this apartment. Couldn’t ask for a better location. We could tell that so much thought went into every detail. First, it’s adorable. Clean, gorgeous finishes, nice furniture. Little details like a shelf in the bathroom, a seat in the shower, instructions for the coffee maker, sleeping masks, robes, an extra blanket, filtered water in the fridge, remote control candles, etc. etc. made this even better than our expectations. This is truly the best rental we’ve ever stayed in.
