La maison est située dans un quartier calme d'Osprey, juste au sud de Sarasota. L'aménagement haut de gamme de la maison comprend une grande chambre principale dans l'aile droite du bâtiment avec un grand dressing, une salle de bains équipée d'une double douche surdimensionnée et d'une baignoire avec bain à remous intégré. Les trois autres chambres sont situées dans l'aile gauche. Le salon surdimensionné est équipée de canapés en cuir, La cuisine entièrement équipée est ouverte sur le salon juste séparés par un bar de la cuisine. Il ya un deuxième salon avec une grande porte en verre à la terrasse de la piscine ainsi que d'une salle de luxe salon séparé. La villa est climatisée avec des contrôles centraux. Il est entouré par une grande cour de l'échelle avec de belles vieilles tropicales ainsi que des arbres d'agrumes. La grande piscine projeté est situé à l'arrière de la villa en forme de L. Le coin salon sur la terrasse de la piscine est partiellement couvert et donne sur la piscine chauffée de dimensions généreuses ainsi que d'une belle cascade.

House during hurricane Milton

We didn’t actually get to stay in the house sadly due to the damage caused in hurricane Milton. The communication with the owner was second to none. His fair and communicative was excellent. I really hope we manage to stay at the house in the future which is in a great location

A very pleasant stay

We were two couples who stayed here for two weeks and had a very pleasant stay. The house is very nice in a good and safe neighborhood. Close to all necessary services. The house was clean and everything in the house worked well. We used the outdoor area a lot which is very fun, very nice to sit there and also to have lunch or dinner outside. In the evening you can use the fireplace table if the weather is cold. Would definitely rent here again.

March Getaway

This place was all it was advertised to be. Everything you needed was supplied. Plenty of bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with extras. Lots of items for the pool or beach. Close to Venice and Sarasota. Marianne was wonderful, it was nice meeting her. She took care of all our needs. Would stay again.

Very clean and comfortable, centrally located

We really enjoyed our stay at Dagmar's place. It was near Siesta Key/Sarasota and Nokomis/Venice area, which is where we wanted to vacation. The house was very clean and had all the essentials we needed to make some meals at the house. Plenty of towels and rags. Nice clean showers and jetted tub. I worked remotely a few days and Wi-Fi was the strongest in the living room. My dogs loved the screen in porch to watch wildlife in the yard. We met Marianne, and was such a pleasure! We would stay here again in the future!

Everything you need is ready for you at this lovely home

We stayed a month and enjoyed all the house. Pool and patio all screened. Heated pool and hot tub. We mainly cook at home and this place is totally equipped. Any need to sharpen the knives and it would improve the cooking experience. The cleaning person and manager was so very nice and responded immediately. I have rented many VRBO homes and this response time was superior. My only concern is it is already booked for next Feb and we wanted to rebook. It is the best!! BOOK IT NOW!!!!!!

Spacious Bay Acres Home

Nicely furnished and roomy. Owner should not have advertised ice maker as the ice maker turned out to be me having to empty trays each day. Ice maker had been broken for 3 years. Owner should buy a larger refrigerator with working ice maker. A garbage disposal would also be nice. The lanai with waterfall was lovely. Trying to heat the hot tub was a challenge. Eventually discovered that both pool and hot tub run on the same set temperature. Who wants a pool at 95? Or a hot tub at 80? Apparently it’s more costly to have separate thermostats installed. Owner charges additional $ for more than 4 occupants even though home was advertised as sleeping 8. Cleanliness of home was super-thanks Marianne!!

Great getaway

Home was wonderful in design spacious near everything by car. Spent 9 weeks and was sad to leave. Maryanne the coordinator was great and very helpful. Could use a little updating ice maker garbage disposal and pool cover. We enjoyed a wonderful stay

the house itself was clean but the pool area was not. there was so many cobwebs everwhere. Looked like no one had been there for awhile and was not cleaned before our arrival. no notes on the trash and when it should go out or how to use tv. Managers were very prompt when contacted and very helpful with that

Great location

We stayed at Bay Acres for two weeks & had a great time. It is in a great location within 15 minutes of Siesta Key. The house was plenty roomy for our guests. Nice size kitchen as well as four bedrooms. The highlight was the outdoor area with a large pool & hot tub. The floor off the kitchen area needs repaired/replaced. Marianne, the property manager, was very responsive & helpful. We hope to return

Difficult Post-trip Experience

We were going to give this property a 4-star rating as we overall had a good trip while we were there. The house was spacious, decently clean, and the check in process was smooth. The house is outdated, so there were baseboards that were falling apart, the fan in the master bedroom made loud sounds when on, and there was other wear and tear issues. However, our experience post-trip was quite difficult with the owners. After a week of our trip, they emailed us that they will be charging $200 for scratches on the master bathroom door. We disputed and then they sent us random pictures of a broken umbrella (we did not use one), stains on bedsheets (?), and told us that the house was in the worst condition. We thought it was highly disrespectful as I mentioned how we valued other people’s homes and even sent them pictures showing how clean we left their place. However, we did not take pictures of every room, so for anyone renting please make sure to take lots of pictures when you leave or they will charge you for whatever they wish. I would also recommend checking your credit card for expenses incurred as our company told us that they put a recurring charge of $200 on our card. We have disputed the charges but if you are renting with them please be sure to check.

Ouiet & Private

Wonderful quiet & private location. Homes was very clean and spacious and had a wonderful heated & caged pool with a waterfall, whirlpool, and lanai where we spent most of our time. Our communications with the owner and property manager were prompt and effective. We definitely will consider renting again!

Bang for your buck!

Lovely, spacious home with well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens and pool towels. The pool area made our stay! The only issue was the hot tub- it was annoying to turn on and never got hot, even tho we paid for heat- not a deal breaker by any means. We just stopped using it. The pool was perfect.

Amazing vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay so much. We didn’t want to leave. The pool was absolutely amazing. The house was spotless. Location was great. Accessible to everything! Will definitely stay again when we make it back.

Very comfortable house with nice pool in a quiet neighborhood

Our family spent two weeks in the house in July 2020. This was in the midst of the pandemic of Florida, so circumstances were somewhat special. We were impressed by the amenities, cleanliness and overall comfort that the house offered. The pool was a highlight: safe and large enough for everyone to do (small) laps and have fun. The kitchen is new with a nice island, the living room very comfortable with a connected "smart" TV. Rooms are clean with comfy beds. The two bathrooms are very functional. The neighborhood is walkable and the house is close to Walmart and Publix. Nokomis beach is 10 minutes away and absolutely gorgeous. Communication with the owner Dagmar was a breathe. We will definitely come back when time allows and highly recommend the property.

Large House at a Great Location

At 3000 sqft this is one of the largest houses we have ever rented for any of our Florida vacations and it easily provided enough space for our 5-person family. Looking at the pictures of the house, we were a bit concerned that the pool area might not get a lot of sunlight, since it is surrounded by the house and/or trees on all four sides, but that turned out not to be true - the pool water was nicely warm and our kids spent hours in it. Even better than the house itself is the are it is located in. Some of the Gulf coast's most beautiful beaches (Venice, Siesta Key, Lido Key, ...) are only a short drive away. The next Walmart is in walking distance, Publix, Target and Costco are close by and malls/outlets like The University Town Center or Ellenton are less than 30 min away. The owner was very approachable and helpful thruout the entire process, before and during our stay. Simply put: we don't know, yet, where our next vacation will lead us; but should we come to the Gulf coast again, we would not hesitate to book this property, once more.

Very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not heated as advertised in your description of home. That is one thing that sold us on the property. Could not enjoy 78 degree water. You should check your ads more closely as to what is offered!

More than 30 years ago we decided to buy a house in another country, a second home with nice weather for beautiful vacations with the family. It was very important for us to buy a house in a safe area (Bay acres) where people life all over the year,in addition shopping opportunities and ofcourse beautiful beaches and places to go out.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

In our yard we have all different kinds of fruits growing for example, oranges, mangos, litschies, grapefruit, limes .... and ofcourse the big pool is nice for the children to play around.
Another nice activity is to go running at cacey key which is only 5 min away from the house.
