This newly renovated island home is located on the beautiful Ocean Point golf course.  Overlooking a peaceful lagoon, you will enjoy watching the amazing wildlife from your back deck.  It’s the perfect spot for a Lowcountry getaway!
 4 BEDROOMS, 2 BATHS, SLEEPS 8
Inside you will find everything you need for a casual beach vacation including wide open living spaces and an updated, well-stocked kitchen.  Three tastefully decorated bedrooms are on the main floor, along with two bathrooms; and there is an additional loft bedroom on the second floor.  There is plenty of room for 8 guests to spread out and relax.
 GOLF CART INCLUDED, CLUB CARDS AVAILABLE
Take the golf cart, included with your stay, and enjoy a quick 5-minute ride to the beach.  Enjoy all of the Resort amenities including golf, dining, pools and more with available Club cards. 
 
Club cards are required to access pools, tennis courts, restaurants and the two championship golf courses. Guest cards are $55 weekly from Memorial Day through Labor Day and $39 weekly during the rest of the year, due to limited seasonal hours at these facilities. Club cards must be arranged prior to arrival.  A resort fee of  12.8% of the total rent will be charged, in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards, for access to the Resort amenities.

A few notes about the island - We are club members which means that the Club amenity cards are available for purchase.

The Fripp Island Club requires amenity cards for you to frequent their amenities. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the restaurants on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the fitness room.  
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

There are a few places on Fripp Island that you do not need an amenity card. SpringTide Market is at the front of the island that has a large menu at their deli. From breakfast sandwiches to family BBQ meals, there is a lot to choose from. There is also a deli at the Marina that serves sandwiches and salads. The Fripp Ship and Mango stores are fun to go into for your perfect souvenir.

Pass to Hunting Island State Park also included.

If this property offers club cards for access to Fripp Island Resort amenities, a new 12.8% of the total rent resort fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards. After booking this property, VRBO will charge their service fee separately and then the reservation will be transferred to FrippIslandStay where the property owner or manager will charge your credit card for the other items seen in the quote provided by VRBO. The refundable security deposit if applicable will be included in the final payment. You will also have the opportunity to purchase travel insurance and damage protection insurance on FrippIslandStay.

You will receive an email with log in information from FrippIslandStay right after booking. Please check your spam or promotions folders. Once logged in to FrippIslandStay, you will be able to order club cards if available and gate passes for access to the island.

Nice, clean and roomy rental

We loved our stay here. We had alligators greeting us on the porch from the pond and could watch all the birds fly around over the water. The place was clean, updated and nicely decorated.

Beautiful place and location

Very neat and clean. We had everything that we needed. The view of the pond and golf course were wonderful, made for hours of entertainment. We would come back to stay at this lovely home again. Thank you!

Perfect in Every Way

This home is perfectly located and beautiful. The views were extraordinary. We loved watching alligators, deer and beautiful birds from the back porch area. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the seating for dining is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are a very nice size, and the home was very clean! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing week at this property. The house is clean and the view is amazing. We really enjoyed watching the birds, turtles, gators and deer from the back deck. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Great location with all the comforts of home

This was our first stay at this home, but we are looking forward to future visits! It is well stocked with all the comforts of home, and the spaces and furnishings were fresh, bright, and welcoming. We loved the location, tucked away from the bustle of Tarpon. Property manager was quick to respond to questions and graciously accommodating. We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and after 20 years of visiting Fripp, this home has made the list of places that we would love to visit again.

There were several issues with this property, floors were popping up in several area within the home, screw on deck were popping out, back door did not lock correctly, hole in dealing in front bedroom, door in bathroom chipped, molding in front bedroom missing, air return falling off hinge, front bedroom closet doesn’t close, laundry closet doesn’t close, kitchen cabinet does not open correctly hit microwave. The railing in the lift area was not secured to anything no one slept there due to potential for accidents.

The location of this rental was nice. It was mostly clean, quaint, and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was responsive in the beginning, which we appreciated. However, the property is clearly in need of maintenance. The spiral staircase felt unsafe to use, and there were screws sticking out of the deck, which is a serious hazard.The biggest issue occurred on the third day when the refrigerator stopped working. I contacted the owner and someone came the next day, but instead of fixing or replacing the fridge, they dropped off a deep freezer (that was filthy and had to be cleaned) and didn’t solve the problem. We had to scramble to keep what we could on ice in coolers, but we still lost a lot of our food, which was frustrating and costly. The day after that, someone finally came out to confirm what we already knew — the fridge was broken and needed replacement. After that, we never heard back from the owner, and no further help was offered.While the rental itself had potential, the lack of proper maintenance and the poor handling of the fridge issue really put a damper on our vacation. We lost time, money, and peace of mind — not what we expected when booking this trip.

Just don’t

The neighborhood was great, location was great. First issue, house sleeps 8, we were provided with a golf cart that seats 4. The golf cart seat was gross. We asked for an upgrade and were told they could not do that. The kitchen and guest bath had been renovated, but that’s it. The plug for the tub did not fit, so almost impossible to bath my small children. The outside of the property was a mess. Things that were said to be provided for beach were stored under the stairs outside and were just yucky. The couch and chair covers defined a good wash. I actually took pictures because of how they looked. There were enough items to cook with, with the exception of a fry/sauté pan. Only one and it was warped so only half actually made contact with burner. The AC vent cover was gross. I hate to leave a bad review but this is our 7th year going to Fripp and this experiment was just not good. We absolutely adore Fripp Island, we had a great time but feel description was misleading. Whomever took pictures of the place is truly a magician.

As owners who strive to deliver a great product, this review was very troubling and a bit confusing, as the guests who stayed a couple of weeks later left us a great review. We are so sorry you were disappointed. All of these complaints but one we have never received before, and are being addressed by us and the property management team. Hopefully, this will be the last time we receive them.

Best experience in my four Fripp Island stays

This property is well equipped with all the kitchen needs. I stayed at Fripp Island four times and this place is the only one with more than you can imagine spices and sharp knives. The place also has spaghetti in the drawer. Ot doesn't cost a lot but give you a home feeling. Sharp knives make cooking much easier. My only suggestions to the owner are adding a few big cooking pots (8 people need to eat a lot and there is only one large cooking pot) and upgrading the queen sized bed (it makes squeaky sound when you roll). Other than those, nothing to complain. Beautiful views and quiet corner.

Great way to spend the Labor Day Weekend

It was our first time at Fripp Island and we will definitely be back. I was concerned because we normally stay beachfront when we go to the beach but with a golf cart it wasn’t a problem at all and it was actually quite peaceful to stay away from most of the action. Great just to sit on the back deck and enjoy the view of the lagoon and the golf course. Kathy, the property manger was great to work with and always responded quickly to my emails. Parking was a bit tight with 2 cars and a golf cart but we made it work.

Family getaway and get together

Easy, layed back, calm & peaceful. Everything we were looking for after leaving the city and the busy summer. We were looking to just sit back and enjoy our last few summers with our children before school schedules start back up.

Home was clean, spacious and beautiful. Wish the yard and parking area had been a bit bigger, but otherwise, perfect for our family. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing and family fun!

This house was so cool. From the deck we watched the coastal birds, the deer on the golf course and an alligator in the water hazard! We drove the golf cart and rode bikes to the beach only a few minutes away and spent one day at the pool. Witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Kathy was very helpful and accommodating. Great vacation enjoyed by all!

Great location on the island

Thank you for another amazing stay on Fripp! We appreciated the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. The house is clean and updated, lots of newer stuff. Kids loved hanging out in the loft area, and the bedrooms were nice too. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and clean. My only complaints would be that the exhaust vent for the stove actually vent outside, a Keurig coffee maker, and for a faster golf cart. We’ll be back!
