Small Town Nostalgic Charm- Renovated Old Country Store
This is a beautifully renovated old country store in the small town of Thaxton, which is centrally located between Tupelo and Oxford. This home is family friendly and unique. The owner is located within 5 minutes of the property.
This place was so fun! We loved it! Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. We came to watch Ole Miss play Mizzou in softball and it was a prefect location to easily get to Oxford.
Stayed for 4 nights. We had to push our stay for one night and the homeowner allowed us to with no problem. Bad weather came through and there was a storage shelter right across the street.
This was the cutest place. What a great idea to make a rental from a gas station!!! Very clean and the owners were so nice and responsive. We will definitely be back.
I absolutely adored this property and highly recommend! It's charming, large, well stocked, clean and had amazingly comfortable furniture. Will be returning next year!
This is the cutest place ever! Modern amenities with southern charm. The owners were so welcoming and excellent communication throughout the entire process. Definitely will stay again when visiting Oxford!
We stayed here for an Ole Miss football game weekend. We wanted to be out of the hustle and bustle of Oxford. This was the perfect place for us! The living area is huge-we were able to play some games and stretch out.
Michelle was quick to answer any questions I had and we were treated with her homemade cinnamon rolls.
Definitely would stay here again-really would like to visit this area.
The property was easy to find and close to Pontotoc. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom layouts were a little unsusual but it was a unique rental and we would stay there again.
Michelle was great! Very responsive. The place is really cute inside. She provided some items we did not expect which was a nice surprise. The price was great for the large group we had! :)
We just stayed 3 days/2 nights April 4-6, 2024. Michelle was a wonderful host and her home was a perfect place for I and my family to recharge daily. We were in Ecru for the funeral of my Step-Mom/Grammy. It was sudden so none of us were ready. Michelle's patience with all our questions was fantastic. We drove from Houston/Fort Worth/Pearland, TX. (8 of us total) Thursday night. Walking into the open spaces of our temporary home let us all draw a deep breath. The coffeepot and cookware were great as we all worked together to fix spaghetti. The pictures are perfect of the amenities of this home. Our ages are 67 to youngest 14 year old Grandson. Plenty of room to be close or separated. I hope sometime to be able to stay here again.
