Beautiful studio apartment next to the Mickelson Trail.
Beautiful, cozy, and warm, private upper-level studio apartment. Fully furnished interior with large deck for grilling, enjoying your morning coffee, watching the wildlife, sunrises, and sunsets. Mickelson trail is less than 50 yards from this great getaway.
Perfect size for the two of us. Quiet area. Loved the outdoor setting area and use of the grill and gas fire table. The dog Axle was an added bonus and the cats were cool also. The beautiful flowers drew in a hummingbird moth which was fun to watch. Troy and Maria were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.
The property, once you find it, is nice. Our issue is that VRBO provided the wrong address in the property details that were sent to us, and the property manager didn't respond to any texts before we arrived. She did answer the phone when we called and we were able to find the property, but it added stress to the situation. The large deck with flowers, large table, fire pit and grill were very enjoyable.
Excellent we love this place and we will be back. The studio apt has complete kitchen, the L shaped deck has sofa, chairs, fire pit, dinette set and gtill. Below is a hot tub which was great after UTV trail riding 50 miles each day. Maria and Troy are GREAT HOSTS!!!
It was a cute apartment right on the trail. The access to the trail was easy. The hot tub was excellent after a day of riding, we really enjoyed that! The deck was exceptional, lots of flowers, and comfy seating. The hosts were very nice and loved playing with their dog. So clever!
Adorable rental property with amazing deck/outdoor living space. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Only a 5 min drive into Custer. Also located on George Mickelson Trail.
On a whirlwind wedding celebration tour of Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota. This place was the PERFECT calming get away from all of the FUN but "too much moving" around travel. Very responsive HOST, spotless, beautifully appointed, economical and incredibly well stocked get away! Would LOVE to come back!
I have been lifelong resident of Custer and attended school in Custer. My wife was born in Mexico and entered the United States in 2003 on a work visa, she became a U.S. citizen in 2015. we currently own and operate Marias Mexican restaurant in Custer at 607 Mt Rushmore Rd. we have one son at home who is 14 and helps with our business adventures. We started with nothing but a desire to improve our way of life and have worked hard to do just that. With determination and good work ethic anything is possible.
