Birchwood Retreat located on private Finely Lake

This two-bedroom, two-bath lake home offers peace and tranquility as it overlooks the scenic Finley Lake. Conveniently located only a few miles out of St. Germain, you’ll find a trip into the Monday morning flea market or a run for bakery and bait, which takes only minutes!

Finley Lake has no public access so while the lake offers all the fun of the bigger lakes, you won’t experience overcrowding! It’s the perfect setting for our 18' 50 hp Palm Beach pontoon boat. Whether it’s taking in the beauty of the natural scenery or sipping cocktails on a sunset cruise, a pontoon boat allows everyone to be together and enjoy the water in comfort, Don't forget to add it to your stay! There’s also good fishing right from the dock or take our rowboat out and discover a secret honey hole! If lounging in the sun is more your speed, check out our brand-new swim raft complete with a ladder for easy access!

Guests have access to the two-car garage, useful for storing the vacation extras! There’s an in-ground fire pit, a picnic table just off the front of the deck you see pictured above, and a good amount of grass for yard games. We even have a horseshoe pit for a little late afternoon competition!

This home is open year-round, and the view in winter, while obviously different from summer's lushness, is equally spectacular! The snowmobile trail is just outside your door where you can access the Bo-Boen trail system and head off in all directions out of St. Germain! Then after a full day of riding, return home where our wood-burning fireplace will warm you back up in a hurry!

Wildlife abounds at Birchwood Retreat. Sit quietly on the deck and enjoy the deer that peek out of the woods with their fawns, the majesty of the bald eagles as they dip into the water for their dinner, and of course, that inspiring call of the loons early evening.
