Our Family Getaway

Our stay was very memorable. The location was perfect, the check in was made easy, the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of local restaurants and we went Striper fishing and had a blast.

Great house for family reunion

The house is in a great location. We could see the lake from the living room couch. There was plenty of room to hang out and visit. It is best house we have stayed at for our family gatherings.

Great Escape from the City!

Our family loved the close access to the beach/lake, walking along the beach collecting seashells and fossils, as well as enjoying the large fenced yard with room for the kids to play around! The neighborhood was safe and quiet; we were able to ride our bikes around without any concerns. The house was extremely clean, new, updated, and met all of our expectations. Communication with the owner was very clear and organized, we enjoyed the entire experience!

Lake Weekend Getaway

Our stay at this lake house was truly exceptional! The short walk to the lake access was incredibly convenient. The host's attention to detail was impressive, as they provided all the amenities we could possibly need! Kitchens and bathrooms were completely stocked! The cleanliness of the house was 5 stars, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both my spouse and our friends had an amazing time. We even had all that we needed to make a fire and enjoy it outside on the patio. We highly recommend this lake house for an unforgettable lakeside getaway! Would definitely book again!

Great Getaway!

We were looking for a getaway not too far from DFW with friends and this place checked all the boxes! There were 4 adults (2 couples). The house is well appointed with lots of room to spread out. I wish it were cooler outside so we could have spent more time outdoors on the patio. Next time!! While not directly on the water, it was a close easy walk - and we did get in the lake (very refreshing). Our host, Lori, was very attentive and quick to respond to any communications. We hope to make it back here again!

Retreat by the Lake

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this vacation rental near the lake for our Thanksgiving gathering, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We had a last-minute cancellation and the host agreed to accommodate us. From the moment we arrived, the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. The interior was immaculate and well-appointed, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The proximity allowed us to enjoy the lake at our own pace. We took advantage of the outdoor seating area to enjoy the crisp autumn air and beautiful scenery. Our interactions with the property manager were delightful. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable getaway near the lake.

Last minute getaway

We decided last minute to get away for a couple of days. Usually I plan for in advance which means I have way too much time to over pack. This time I literally packed the morning we left and I was so worried I wouldn’t have everything I needed. I was wrong, the house had it all. The property is new and very clean. It has an amazing backyard which is perfect for letting the little ones just run around. You have a view of the lake and just a very very short walk to the lake front. We can’t wait to come back again. We have rented from Lori and Craig before at another property and they are always easy to get in touch with and fast to respond. Thanks again!

Premier host since 2017 on VRBO! We are a local family with two properties on VRBO providing a luxury vacation spot for families wanting more space and quiet neighborhood on Lake Texoma.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this property because of the views and location on Lake Texoma. Custom built with 8' doors downstairs. Tall ceilings throughout, vaulted in family room with plenty of natural light. Conveniently located near Little Mineral Marina and Lighthouse Marina. From the moment you start the drive down Preston Road you begin to prepare you mind through the wooded, windy roads for relaxation. We are nestled in a small, quiet luxury peninsula on Lake Texoma. Take a walk down to the water from 2 access points just a few minutes from our home.

Walk to the lake in less than 3 minutes! Listen to the waves and boats pass by while enjoying your morning coffee on the deck! Tile floors throughout downstairs, custom cabinetry in kitchen and master bath. Plenty of linens for a family of 8. Full size washer and dryer available for use during your stay. Smart TV's with all the favorite apps and excellent WiFi for streaming multiple devices.
