Fox Lane - Prince Edward County Farmhouse
Summary:
Fox Lane is our comfortable, 3+ bedroom home in PEC. (Approx 2300 sq ft.) The property, just under 3 acres, is surrounded by farm fields, down a 1/2 km lane. It's in the heart of the country, and right in the centre of "The County". It is 5 mins from Picton, 15 min from Sandbanks Prov. Park. (Park Pass provided.) The house is child-friendly, with bunk beds, a playroom and outdoor climber. The porch is perfect for a glass of wine at sunset.
The Space:
We are licensed with Prince Edward County to host 6 adults and up to 4 children under the age of 10.
There are three bedrooms in our home; one upstairs and two downstairs. They all have Queen size beds, and will be made up with fresh linens for your stay. You will also be provided with fresh towels.
The other downstairs bedroom also has a single bed, suitable for a child who is too big for a crib.
âŠand (pssst!) thereâs a secret bunk room that the kids will love.
Altogether, it is well set up for two families.
All bedrooms have a stand-alone fan. If youâre like us, and need white noise to sleep, weâve got you covered!
Our recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped if you enjoy cooking and entertaining while on vacation. If you've already had lots to eat at one of the County's renowned restaurants, then you can still enjoy some wine on our wraparound porch that overlooks farm fields around us. One of our favourite spots!
We have one very large bathroom with a shower with two shower heads and a soaker tub with glorious views of the fields.
We can't wait to host you at Fox Lane!

The Neighborhood:
It's just you and the fields - but 5 minutes from town in Picton.
Getting Around:
Since the property is out in the country, a car is a must. We are less than 5 minutes from Picton, about 6 minutes to Bloomfield and 15 minutes to Wellington - all quaint towns worth exploring. Cycling is very good.
The house is within short driving distance of numerous wineries, breweries, restaurants, cafes, galleries, etc. Beaches are 15 minutes away.
