Beautiful home and spectacular views! The Host had everything we needed to make us and our dogs feel like we were at home. The hot tub was clean and working great. Definitely would stay here again.

The view was fantastic, so quite and peaceful. The porches and hot tub were lovely. The great room was very cozy.

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Masterpeace and found the home clean and well stocked with necessities. One point that needs clarification is that Beech Ski Resort is about a half hour drive away(the listing says less than 10 minutes).

Mountain Masterpiece almost lived up to its name. It is located on a heavily wooded lot with an absolutely incredible diorama view from the wraparound deck of a valley with ranges of mountains in the background. There are neighbors within a couple hundred yards but you can barely see them. We felt like we were the only people for miles. The cabin was large, very clean, well-appointed and well equipped. Plenty of plates, flatware, pots and pans, etc. Nitpicks: two blender bases but no jars, kitchen knives dull to the point of being almost unusable--we had to buy a chef's knife for cooking. The starter kits of supplies (soaps, paper goods and such) were generous. The appliances were in good working order although the electric stove top and I did not get along at all. Wi-fi was solid.We spent a lot of time on the deck. There is plenty of deck furniture including a lovely porch swing, tables and a picnic table, and a very nice and well-maintained hot tub right outside the master bedroom.Be aware isolation comes with a cost. The drive down the mountain is about 4 miles of winding road, 1.6 miles of which is single lane, unpaved, dusty, fairly rough road. Watch out for the deer and wild turkeys. The cabin is 15-20 minutes from anything. No quick runs into Banner Elk for breakfast.So, would we recommend Mountain Masterpiece to someone looking for a rustic getaway with all the amenities? Oh, hell yes! Just be ready for the "away" part of getaway.

Great stay and beautiful cabin

We loved our stay and the cabin. The amenities were great and the views were fantastic. This was our first time visiting the area so we didn’t know enough about location so this was a little further out than we’d expected. Other than that, everything was great!

Beautiful property

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Incredibly well stocked, plenty of room, comfortably slept my whole family and could house 8 people very comfortably if we wanted to bring even more. Only thing I wasn’t fully expecting was the 30 minute drive to ski, but that’s nothing that can be changed - and the drive is beautiful so it wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely stay here again.

The website states that Beech Mountain Ski resort is a 9 minute drive but when we arrived we realized we were on the other side of the mountain. It was a 35 minute drive to the ski area. I would recommend mentioning that in your listing. The hot tub also had dead bugs and black floating things in it and the downstairs shower must have been clogged because we stood in a pool of water every time we showered.

Spring break getaway

We had a nice trip for my family to unplug and enjoy nature. This cabin had the prettiest views! That was definitely a highlight for us! Beds were cozy and house was really clean. Only complaint was our hot tub never got above 90 degrees. We picked this cabin mainly because of the hot tub amenity. I reached out to the host who sent a tech right away but the problem was never fixed. Still, it’s didn’t stop us from having a nice time. If you are looking for remote and away from everything, this is the place!

Wonderful Mountain Stay

Loved this property. The entire family enjoyed it. Management was nice enough to make sure we were prepared for the stay. Got a lot of snow and the 4WD came in handy. I was craving snow and we got our fill for sure. Beautiful views and the hot tub was amazing. Forgot something at the property and the management team has been very accomodating to help return it to me. House had everything we needed. Favorite part was the high end hot tub on the pack porch. Was impressed with all of the updates. The owners really take pride in this place. We look forward to returning for years to come.

Heavenly retreat

This was our second visit and we loved it! The property manager was very informative and warned us about the road that had been affected by Tropical Storm Nicole before we headed up, which we appreciated. The county fixed the road fairly quickly. The view is breathtaking and the hot tub was a welcome retreat after full days of hiking. The bed in the master suite is wonderful, a perfect balance of firm and plush. Everything here is well thought out and just relaxing from the moment we arrived.

Gorgeous view and Relaxing

This place has a gorgeous view looking from the backside. I love the large wrap around porch and swings! The hot tub was perfect and in a great location, just steps outside of the master bedroom. We wished the grill was in the back overlooking the fantastic view but having the grill was nice in general. The house it up a steep gravel driveway so be prepared. Coyotes would howl a lot nearby. Overall this place was wonderful experience and a relaxing time.

We arrived to find the house immaculately clean and in perfect condition. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and the entire house is furnished comfortably.......very nice mattresses on all the beds. We enjoyed watching movies in the evenings on the BIG flat screen tv in the living room in front of a cozy fire. The fireplace is great! The wraparound deck/porch is huge with multiple seating areas to enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. Wonderful big hot tub on the deck off the primary bedroom suite for long soaks while admiring the views. We often had four adults in the hot tub, but it would comfortably hold 6. All in all we enjoyed every minute of our 9 day stay at Mountain Masterpeace and would enthusiastically recommend it to everyone. You won't be disappointed!
