What some guests may not like about our listing:
-The home was originally built in 1909. This means that it is not brand new or modern.
- We do not have central AC/heating in the home, but we window AC units to help you keep cool in the hot summertime, and baseboard/space heaters for the winter.
- This is a basement suite of a home. There are no shared areas, but you may hear the upstairs at times.
- Parking can be tough in the area. Be prepared it can be hard to find spots at times. We are only given 1 parking pass by the city, so only 1 car can park for free. Any others will be paid parking at a parking garage nearby

Our home provides a cozy accommodation for 2 individuals in a full-sized bed, with the option to accommodate a third person on the couch if desired. The house is permitted for an overnight occupancy of up to 3 guests and undergoes professional cleaning after each stay.

Enjoy free WiFi, streaming live TV with Roku TV, and complimentary coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, as well as glassware, mugs, dishes, and utensils.

The entirety of the guest suite is available for your use throughout your stay. The space is exclusively yours, with no shared areas with the upstairs unit, ensuring complete privacy for the duration of your visit.

In-person interaction will be minimal, except for cases requiring a handyman's assistance. We offer self check-in and comprehensive instructions, ensuring you won't need to contact us except for specific circumstances.

We can also be easily reached via the messaging feature within the app.

After confirming your reservation with us, you will receive a keyless entry code for the home three days prior to your scheduled stay.

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

Please note that profiles with a lower review rating than 4 stars will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation confirms through the system, the reservation may be cancelled. For guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed.

We’re excited to share this unique home with you! Built in 1911, this house is more than 100 years old and full of historic character. While we’ve thoughtfully updated many parts of the home to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, you may still notice signs of age—like a door that sticks when it’s cold, or some staining on the bottom of the original bathtub. These are part of the charm (and quirks!) of staying in a true vintage home.

We’ve intentionally preserved much of the original feel to honor its history and the surrounding neighborhood, rather than fully modernizing or gutting the space. If you’re looking for something brand new or completely pristine, this might not be the best fit—and that’s totally okay! But if you appreciate charm, character, and a cozy, lived-in feel, we think you’ll love it here.

We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and photos so there are no surprises at check-in, and we kindly ask that you review them before booking. Our goal is to ensure you have the best possible stay—with the right expectations from the start.

House rules:
1. If we have to move furniture back to its original position after your stay, we will have to charge $50 per hour to do so. Please just move the furniture back before your departure.
2. No smoking/vaping inside the home. Outside is okay as long as you clean up after yourself and you keep the smoke and vapors more than 10 feet from open doorways or windows. The smell is extremely difficult and expensive to remove. Smoking Fee starts at $500 and you will also be charged the cost of cleaning and removing the smell.
3. Absolutely no parties allowed in the home.
4. Quiet time is between 10PM and 8AM to respect neighbors and the area. No loud music/shouting etc. after this time.
5. Early check-ins will have a fee associated. Typically $30-50, but may be more depending on how early you want to check in.
6. We cannot offer late checkout at our properties. Checkout time is set to be the latest possible that will still allow our cleaning company time to get the property ready for the next check-in time. Unapproved late checkout fee is $50 for every 30 minutes, plus any refunds/charges that the next guest occurs due to your late checkout.

*Cancellations* Please keep in mind that we do stick to the cancellation policy on our listing and we do not make exceptions. This includes for family emergencies, contract changes, travel delays etc (anything that is out of our control as the host). We strongly recommend getting travel insurance if you have concerns with this, as it is not expensive and provides you peace of mind.
