Welcome to Absolute Relaxation! Breathe in the fresh mountain air, laced with the scent of the surrounding pines, and discover the restorative power of nature and solitude at Absolute Relaxation. Enjoy the best of both worlds with the feeling of a secluded mountain home while only 6 Miles from Fairplay, 8 miles from Alma and less than 25 miles to Breckenridge. Tucked into the pines on a 1 acre lot in the Valley of the Sun neighborhood, this beautiful home features a private hot tub, gorgeous views and modern amenities that can be enjoyed with everyone you love - including your furry family!
As you enter the home, step into the cozy mudroom that provides a full size washing machine and dryer for guest use - no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town.
Discover a well appointed Kitchen with ample counter space, bar top seating for 2, modern appliances and everything you will need to whip up your favorite meal. As you leave the kitchen and enter the spacious, open concept Great Room, you are greeted by a large dining table with roomy seating for 6 - plenty of space for meal time with those you love. The sliding glass doors and large windows of the Great Room offer beautiful woodland views and easy access to the hot tub and the front deck with its propane grill and welcoming porch swing.
Inside, the comfortable leather seating around the gas fireplace and smart TV, provide an ideal space to lounge the days away. Or perhaps begin a full day of activities in the breakfast nook with a window-side brew and incredible mountain views.
Down the long hallway, the Central Bathroom features a double vanity, toilet and a bathtub/shower combo, where you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or sink in for a long, hot soak.
The Bunk Bedroom features Twin over Full size Bunk beds fitted with cozy cotton bed linens, a corner closet and toy box filled with kids toys and games.
At the end of the hallway to the right, enter the cozy Wildlife Meadows Bedroom. This room features a Queen size bed fitted with our cozy cotton bed linens, a corner closet and large window featuring beautiful forest views. Relish in the Mountain Modern decor with thoughtful, unique and personal touches throughout the cabin that will make you feel right at home.
Step through the door of the Master Suite where you are greeted by a pillow soft King size bed, large double closets, a large window and a spacious En Suite Bathroom. The En Suite Bathroom features a double vanity, a jetted jacuzzi tub, corner shower and private toilet.
The Valley of the Sun neighborhood is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe Elk, Deer and Foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property. Additionally, you may be able to see Moose in their natural habitat at the nearby wetland area located less than 2 miles down the valley from the cabin. The driveway is plowed in the winter and the roadways are maintained by the county, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.
Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "Base Camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.

* This home is located in the Central Rockies at approx. 11,053 ft. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate.
* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. The home is also equipped with a well water system
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* Outdoor security cameras are in use at this property, and may be used to verify guest occupancy. Security cameras are solely for visual (no audio) monitoring outside the property and are not present inside the property.
* This home is pet friendly. We charge a $50 pet fee for each pet, and all pets must be approved. This fee is not included in the quoted rate, and will be charged after the booking is confirmed or the day of arrival on the reservation.
