Relaxing stay in quiet central neighbourhood!

Reviewer Comments: Our stay in this villa was fantastic; My Huatulco Vacation was there to assist with any questions that I had and the property was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed being able to walk to the grocery store and some great restaurants nearby! The property was well equipped for our needs and featured really nice finishes throughout. I would highly recommend waking up early one morning and walking to Chahue beach to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Great stay and look forward to coming back!

I loved the high ceilings in the living room! Joe was an amazing host, he checked on us everyday and was very attentive while me and my girlfriend were in Huatulco. Joe took the time out of his day to find and mail back to me an expensive item that I had left behind. I would highly recommend this listing.

Disappointed

The Duplex itself is modern and the living space looked clean, looks like the pictures, BUT….while settling in to our accomodation, I had to dispense with an ant nest in the silverware drawer, wash dirty dishes that were stashed under the sink, deal with a leaking kitchen sink drain (at 1 point the pipe came right out of the wall) and deal with a leaking upstairs bathroom drain. There is VERY limited hot water. There were no extra towels and the bed linens were in poor shape and not the correct size for 1 of the beds. The “Tropical Garden” consists of a cement sidewalk and driveway, no shade and uncomfortable seating. The other side of the Duplex is unfinnished/under some sort of renovation with an absentee owner. (So nothing is happening) consequently there are rodents in the storage area (saw the droppings and heard them) All these concerns were brought to the attention of whom we thought were the property managers….their reply was always “I will let the property manager know”. Nothing was ever resolved while we were there. We were led to believe that midway through our 2 week stay, cleaners would come in….that did not happen and there was only a broom to tidy up with. We are well seasoned travellers and expect tropical issues when visiting the tropics, We also expect accomodations to be in decent working order and a certain level of comfort for the money we pay.

We regret that the "Tropical Garden" did not meet your expectations and that the unfinished side of the duplex caused discomfort. We are taking steps to improve the outdoor space and address the rodent issue in the storage area. Your experience with our property management team is unacceptable, and we are working to improve our communication and responsiveness. Cleaners will be scheduled more reliably, and we are ensuring that our team follows up on all reported issues promptly. Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us enhance our services and the overall guest experience.
