Cozy Private Suite in Cultural District! Walk to Mass St. ~ 5 min to KU Campus

Welcome to our newly renovated, quiet, and cozy suite in the heart of Lawrence, Kansas! Just a 5-minute walk to downtown Lawrence’s historical Mass Street and the historical East Lawrence Art District. We also have great access to West Lawrence; just off 6th street. This truly is a unique and quaint space to call yours and you’ll be minutes from the KU Campus, breweries, historical venues, parks, library, restaurants, and more!

The space
Relax and unwind in our newly renovated cozy suite, perfect for a weekend getaway! Located in the Lawrence Cultural District, this 500 sq. ft. Guesthouse sleeps a total of four (4) with one bedroom (queen bed), sleeper sofa (queen), and one bathroom. The Suite is fully equipped with a Kitchen, WIFI, Smart HDTV, washer/dryer, fridge, coffee, wine glasses, books, and other reading materials, iron/board, and everything you'd need to call this place "home".

The kitchen does not have an oven or a garbage disposal. Please do not put food scraps down the kitchen drain. There is a trash can directly under the sink in the cabinet. You will have a two-burner stove top, built-in mini fridge in stainless steel with freezer, microwave, toaster, 1-4 cup drip coffee machine, dishware, cutlery, pots/pans, wine/bottle opener, wine glasses, travel water bottles, travel tumbler mugs for hot/cold beverages, popcorn, hot cocoa, and other basic seasonings. A first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and basic cleaning supplies are provided.

There is a single step up from the kitchen into the bedroom. A step stool in the hideaway on the step will hold up to 300 lbs. For the best safety precaution, be sure to stand on it with both feet flat, not one-footed.

The bedroom does not have a traditional closet, but there is a rod with hangers provided should you need them. We also have it equipped with a luggage rack and USB port outlets. The black metal Queen bed comes with a Zinus green tea firm-plush memory foam mattress and Easeland cotton mattress pad, and three (3) pillow varieties: Bamboo memory foam, cooling luxury gel, and plush down alternative. The maximum weight recommendation for the bedframe is 500 lbs.

For extra guest support, the sleeper sofa in the living room can accommodate up to 2 sleepers. Guests can enjoy the queen-sized memory foam mattress. Extra sheets, blankets, and pillows are stored on the top shelf in the bedroom.

For the bathroom, there is no bathtub. The shower features the Holispa rainfall shower head. Towels are provided. Under the sink, you will find a hair dryer.

This home also features a washer/dryer unit, stocked with laundry soap, dryer sheets, lint roller, and ironing board.

We have an outdoor camera monitoring the front door for the safety of our guests.

Please read the house rules before booking. We do not allow pets. Although we love fur babies, we hope you can understand that we need to keep a clean and safe home for all our guests.
