The place was very clean with lots of parking. The handrail for the stairs didn't run the full length of the stairs and is a slight safety issue for older people or anyone who needs the support.Also the shower head was a little small but the water was hot.

Halifax Trip

Nice location - convenient for us to get into Halifax as well as airport and family a little further north. Would definitely stay in this area again

The property was clean and bright and well equipped. Perfect location for us with convenient parking.It's a renovated unit in an older building, there's nice history in the floors but there is limited sound insulation. There was an issue with the mattress, there were a couple of springs sticking up, but the host was responsive and while they couldn't replace the mattress on Easter weekend (fair!) they did offer a discount. If you're just one person the other 2/3 of the bed was comfortable :)The hosting team was responsive and helpful during our stay.

I had a great experience. They delivered on everything they promised. The water pressure in the shower is low but that’s my only complaint.

Large suite with one comfortable bed for two. Seems like a lot of wasted space with closets that are huge. Place could use an update as the walls are in a bit of rough shape paint peeling, cupboards in kitchen are shrink wrapped and peeling as well. Appliances are good. There is a drip coffee maker and this should be mentioned in the suite description. Parking is available at back of building. There is no qr code as described for the Honk app. I sent a message to owners and it wasn't answered. There are very few extras that should be provided in a suite with kitchen such as plastic wrap, bags, foil and paper towels, some basic condiments as travellers don't bring those along on flights. Dishes are random collection that look thrift store quality. There were only two towels provided for 5 days and they looked like old rags I would use in my home. No face cloths, one t towel in kitchen. No hand towels. Some soap or shampoo provided but looked like stuff other people left behind. Room is sunny but the only views are of the parking lot. Steep staircase into building so if you have mobility issues this is not for you. 2 Old pictures on wall and nothing else. Setup is weird with tv in bedroom so you can't watch feom the couch. A floor AC in sitting area had to run continuously to keep room at 22c when it was warm outside.

This location worked well for us to explore the area. Nice and quiet in the evenings. It is located on the 2nd floor, so there are stairs.

The inside was actually okay but there are some major factors to be aware of. Apartment is on second floor and there is no air conditoning. While there is a fan, it does not cool the apartment at all. In the summer, you will die of heat there. The area is not good either. While walking at the back of the property i was accosted by a dog luckily on a leash but looked like shacks back there. The highway that the building sits on is very very busy and tough to turn left and you are miles from shopping so make sure you have your groceries or whatever before you arrive. I would not re book here

Communication lacking and did not get room we booked

We were told we could check in at 2:30 then receive notice the day of we cannot check until 5:30 due to housekeeping shortage. Then when we finally get to check in the room was never cleaned. They claimed it was a misunderstanding. Then we are put in a room we did not want and told we would get a refund but never did. They ghosted us after that. The room we got had 2 thin blankets, no storage in the bathroom and a sink you could not even put your overnight bag on. Do not stay with this company. They do not communicate beforehand well as others have stated and you cannot trust you will get the place you booked or at the very least, get to check in on time. Very disappointed in our stay.

Nice place with new kitchen appliances, washer & dryer. Comfortable bed with tv in the bedroom area. A large walk-in closet is available in the bedroom.
