Situé dans la belle John River Gorge, entre Blowing Rock et Grandfather Mountain, GLOBE Valley Ranch est ', où la chaussée se termine »et vos vacances de rêve commence. Notre famille a commencé notre rêve de construire cabanes de montagne pittoresques avec l'achat de 117 arpents sur la rivière Johns en 2005. Le Johns River et de la Forêt nationale de Pisgah bordent notre propriété et offrent un beau cadre tranquille pour être apprécié en toutes saisons!

Nous offrons fièrement notre part de nouveau taillé journal cabine avec 2 chambres et une mezzanine avec 2 lits simples. Un merveilleux six places bain à remous se trouve sur le pont arrière de la cabine. Nous louons sur une base quotidienne ou hebdomadaire. En outre, nous avons construit un cadre 36x36 grange de bois avec un espace barbecue et aire de jeux. Nous vous invitons à écouter et observer la faune abondante sur notre superficie vierge et profiter de la détente totale sur la véranda couverte qui donne sur 'Bear Hollow Creek ». Vous pouvez également profiter d'une randonnée vers le bas par la rivière Johns à «mouiller un crochet. Notre destination de vacances offre un large éventail d'activités de plein air pour les amateurs d'aventure au printemps, été, automne ou en hiver.

Amazing !!!

Great property and cabin with beautiful front porch overlooking a stream. We loved sitting out on the porch listening to the sounds of the water running over the rocks.The cabin is fully stocked with everything we needed. The space is clean and secluded. The weather was cool so we enjoyed using the fireplace and hot tub. The property is beautiful with 8 acres on the Johns River, which our dogs love swimming in. We also enjoyed exploring the trails on the property. The hosts are very helpful and we thank them for sharing their home. We can’t wait to come back again!!

Perfectly Peaceful

This is the best guest stay I have ever had. The location of the cabin is perfectly private and peaceful. That babbling brook can't be beat! The space was clean and well-stocked. We loved every single minute of this trip and never left the cabin. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful Cabin, Gorgeous Setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving holiday. We especially enjoyed the large fireplace in the evenings. We’re hoping to return in the summer to explore the surrounding property and nearby hiking trails.

Beautiful Location

We really enjoyed the remote location. Very quiet, other than the sound of the creek running near the property, which was very soothing. Owner was very responsive and attentive.

Fall getaway!

Great cabin 15 mikes from civilization. Loved heading down the mountain to Blowing Rock & Boone for dining, shopping and local flavor. Very comfy!

Great mountain getaway!

We really enjoyed staying at the Globe Valley Ranch cabin. It was clean and charming and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The owners were very easy to work with and we would definitely come back.

Such a wonderful property and many trails on the property to explore! I am very grateful we had the opportunity to stay here. We stayed during Thanksgiving and it was just amazing. The host was very communicative. I 100% recommend.

A true gem!!

This was our 4th stay at Globe Valley Ranch and it never fails to impress. The property is absolutely beautiful! We spent lots of time playing in the creek by the house and the river down by the barn. The house has all the comforts of home and the owners are wonderful. We were all sad to leave but already planning the next trip. Thank you to the Murphy's for sharing this amazing place with us!!

Excellent mountain retreat

The house was large and clean. While it ended up raining so we did not use the fire pit, plenty of wood was provided. The hot tub was well kept and very much appreciated. Also the River cannot be undersold. It was an excellent little swimming hole just a bit of a walk across the property. The creek was also really nice to out our feet into and added to the ambiance of sitting on the large front porch but definitely not a swimming spot.

Great home if you are looking for some peace

The house is near a creek and provides a great, secluded location if you are looking for some peace. My family and I loved going down to the river on the property and relaxing by the water. We took a couple of trips to Blowing Rock/Tweetsie Railroad during our stay, but my favorite time was spent listening to the creek from the front porch or down by the river with my feet in the cool mountain water. Would definitely recommend this property if you are looking to get away and get outside.

Beautiful Cabin and Property

The cabin was so clean! The place was beautifully laid out, had comfortable beds, a relaxing large front porch with rockers in front of a mountain stream, a fire pit, a very nice grill/smoker (Texas offset barrel-style), and was very private. The property is like something out of a Robert Frost poem. The Johns River is breathtaking. I am a full-time pastor, so we really try to make vacations count, and this one was very special. Highly recommended.

2nd Visit Was Just as Magical

We LOVE this cabin! It’s our second stay there and we’ll probably go back again. Very peaceful with a stream out front. The hot tub is great for sore muscles after hiking. No cars, people, etc. to be heard. Ms. Corrine is so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great to Unplug

Perfect for outdoors and true nature. We had a "Wood Fairy" to visit us and the kids didn't have any screens on until movie time before bed.

Seclusion!

Very quiet and secluded ! This is a great place to stay if that is what you seek! A nice bubbling brook right off of the porch. The house was clean and stocked with salt, pepper and all essentials and was well decorated. We will stay here again In the future. We had a little trouble initially getting WIFI, we booted the router and bingo!

Beautiful, quiet and renewing. Just what we pictured and needed

Everything was clean and ready for us. Very clear instructions for the property and hot tub. We took our small dog and enjoyed exploring the trails in the woods and playing in the river. We fished, relaxed in the hot tub and read, rocked and relaxed on the front porch. It was just what we were hoping for and couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Thank you very much for the well cared for property.

The most relaxing VRBO ever !

We could have easily stayed a month. Very private, quiet, fully equipped, nothing anyone could want for. Sitting on the porch watching the wildlife, fireflies and chilling. The beds and furniture so comfortable and Showers are great Never turned on a TV ! Corrine was awesome and extremely helpful answering our many questions. We already want to plan another trip to NC just to stay here.

Beautiful place, so quite and peaceful. My grandbabies loved playing in the creek in front of house and the hot tub. There were lots of toys to keep them entertained too. We had fun at the River also. We will definitely go back again. Connie was easy to contact. Waterfalls close by this place is a small piece of Heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing it.

Serene Escape: Our Perfect Family Retreat in a Stunning Cabin

What an extraordinary property and a breathtaking cabin! My family and I were absolutely delighted with our stay. The property offers tranquility, easy access, and the cabin itself is absolutely stunning. Our children had the time of their lives playing in the creek right in front of the cabin every day, while our dog thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding trails a short distance away. The cabin is perfectly situated in a beautiful clearing within a small valley, offering quiet, seclusion, and an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. Locating the property and accessing the cabin was a breeze, thanks to the convenient lock boxes. The interior of the cabin appears brand new, with supremely comfortable beds and a living space that is the epitome of what one dreams of in a cabin in the woods. This place has earned a permanent spot in our hearts, and we plan to return time and time again.

Secluded Mountain Cabin

Overall, everything was as advertised. This cabin is very secluded and is about 30 minutes from a store of any kind. The drives into nearby towns like Linville and Blowing Rock travel along narrow gravel roads up the sides of mountains. The kids loved playing in the small creek in the front of the cabin. We were able to catch some trout on the John's River. This is a great place to relax. The cabin is well stocked with items, but not everything. I would suggest bringing all of your supplies just incase (the cabin was stocked with everything but TP). I would definitely go back.

You will see wildlife, deer, turkey, and blue heron and butterflies, on the big river. Great trails to walk or ride. You will have peace and quiet, lots of privacy, all the sounds of the outdoors, no light pollution, stars galore, creeks and streams all over the property and a picnic area down by the river. Hot tub on deck.
