SituĂ© dans la belle John River Gorge, entre Blowing Rock et Grandfather Mountain, GLOBE Valley Ranch est ', oĂč la chaussĂ©e se termine »et vos vacances de rĂȘve commence. Notre famille a commencĂ© notre rĂȘve de construire cabanes de montagne pittoresques avec l'achat de 117 arpents sur la riviĂšre Johns en 2005. Le Johns River et de la ForĂȘt nationale de Pisgah bordent notre propriĂ©tĂ© et offrent un beau cadre tranquille pour ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ© en toutes saisons!

Nous offrons fiÚrement notre part de nouveau taillé journal cabine avec 2 chambres et une mezzanine avec 2 lits simples. Un merveilleux six places bain à remous se trouve sur le pont arriÚre de la cabine. Nous louons sur une base quotidienne ou hebdomadaire. En outre, nous avons construit un cadre 36x36 grange de bois avec un espace barbecue et aire de jeux. Nous vous invitons à écouter et observer la faune abondante sur notre superficie vierge et profiter de la détente totale sur la véranda couverte qui donne sur 'Bear Hollow Creek ». Vous pouvez également profiter d'une randonnée vers le bas par la riviÚre Johns à «mouiller un crochet. Notre destination de vacances offre un large éventail d'activités de plein air pour les amateurs d'aventure au printemps, été, automne ou en hiver.

The location is remote and very quiet. Very welcome for a holiday - no crowds (unless you want to count a flock of 8-10 wikd turkeys that joined us Thanksgiviing morning)!

Absolutely the most private and relaxing stay yet. This was out second visit and it was just as awesome as the first time. Our morning walks down to the river with our dogs were so much fun! The river is crystal clear and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. The cabin is very comfortable with the fireplace and fire pit outside being our favorite night time activity. The hot tub was the perfect way to end one of our big hiking days and nothing can compare to the sound of the babbling brook on the front porch with our morning coffee. We can’t wait to come back!

It was exactly what we were looking for. A cabin in the woods that was away from other people and the noise that comes in the city or surrounding communities. We were able to truly relax, disconnect, and just listen to the sounds of nature all around us. Highly recommend if this is the kind of experience you are looking for.

Beautiful cabin and location in the mountains was perfect with seclusion. Host was more than accomodating with home supplies as well as wood. Beds were comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. Hot tub was clean and wonderful. There was even a pile of wood stacked for our first fire. Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful weekend with family and friends. My furbabies loved the land as we walked with them on several occasions and the creek. Highly recommend. For traveling there, GPS took us on Global road which is mostly gravel with drop offs and such but there are other roads that can be taken to get to the property which is worth looking into if you dont like those types of roads.

Exactly as described, perfect in every way. Quiet, private, and beautiful. Well stocked with necessities, incredibly comfortable and just what we needed. My adult son is disabled and sometimes when his routine is disrupted he can be difficult and grumpy. But the peace of the place seemed to work wonders with him. He was so happy the whole time, so that means I was able to relax, too.

Outstanding cabin

Beautiful cabin, very clean and well stocked. It's a perfect setting for those that want peace, tranquility and maybe some fishing. Driving into town (Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock) not the most pleasant but the beauty of this cabin well surpassed that.

Summer Mountain Vacation

Globe Valley Ranch was an amazing experience. The cabin was spacious, with all the amenities of home. Hot tub was perfect to relax in after a day of hiking and exploring. Sitting and having a cup of coffee every morning on the porch while listening to the creek was wonderful. Exceptional communication, and we checked-in/checked-out with ease. We look forward to coming back to the ranch soon!

Amazing !!!

Great property and cabin with beautiful front porch overlooking a stream. We loved sitting out on the porch listening to the sounds of the water running over the rocks.The cabin is fully stocked with everything we needed. The space is clean and secluded. The weather was cool so we enjoyed using the fireplace and hot tub. The property is beautiful with 8 acres on the Johns River, which our dogs love swimming in. We also enjoyed exploring the trails on the property. The hosts are very helpful and we thank them for sharing their home. We can’t wait to come back again!!

Perfectly Peaceful

This is the best guest stay I have ever had. The location of the cabin is perfectly private and peaceful. That babbling brook can't be beat! The space was clean and well-stocked. We loved every single minute of this trip and never left the cabin. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful Cabin, Gorgeous Setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving holiday. We especially enjoyed the large fireplace in the evenings. We’re hoping to return in the summer to explore the surrounding property and nearby hiking trails.

Excellent mountain retreat

The house was large and clean. While it ended up raining so we did not use the fire pit, plenty of wood was provided. The hot tub was well kept and very much appreciated. Also the River cannot be undersold. It was an excellent little swimming hole just a bit of a walk across the property. The creek was also really nice to out our feet into and added to the ambiance of sitting on the large front porch but definitely not a swimming spot.

A true gem!!

This was our 4th stay at Globe Valley Ranch and it never fails to impress. The property is absolutely beautiful! We spent lots of time playing in the creek by the house and the river down by the barn. The house has all the comforts of home and the owners are wonderful. We were all sad to leave but already planning the next trip. Thank you to the Murphy's for sharing this amazing place with us!!

Beautiful Cabin and Property

The cabin was so clean! The place was beautifully laid out, had comfortable beds, a relaxing large front porch with rockers in front of a mountain stream, a fire pit, a very nice grill/smoker (Texas offset barrel-style), and was very private. The property is like something out of a Robert Frost poem. The Johns River is breathtaking. I am a full-time pastor, so we really try to make vacations count, and this one was very special. Highly recommended.

Great home if you are looking for some peace

The house is near a creek and provides a great, secluded location if you are looking for some peace. My family and I loved going down to the river on the property and relaxing by the water. We took a couple of trips to Blowing Rock/Tweetsie Railroad during our stay, but my favorite time was spent listening to the creek from the front porch or down by the river with my feet in the cool mountain water. Would definitely recommend this property if you are looking to get away and get outside.

Serene Escape: Our Perfect Family Retreat in a Stunning Cabin

What an extraordinary property and a breathtaking cabin! My family and I were absolutely delighted with our stay. The property offers tranquility, easy access, and the cabin itself is absolutely stunning. Our children had the time of their lives playing in the creek right in front of the cabin every day, while our dog thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding trails a short distance away. The cabin is perfectly situated in a beautiful clearing within a small valley, offering quiet, seclusion, and an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. Locating the property and accessing the cabin was a breeze, thanks to the convenient lock boxes. The interior of the cabin appears brand new, with supremely comfortable beds and a living space that is the epitome of what one dreams of in a cabin in the woods. This place has earned a permanent spot in our hearts, and we plan to return time and time again.

Beautiful Location

You will see wildlife, deer, turkey, and blue heron and butterflies, on the big river. Great trails to walk or ride. You will have peace and quiet, lots of privacy, all the sounds of the outdoors, no light pollution, stars galore, creeks and streams all over the property and a picnic area down by the river. Hot tub on deck.
