Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has a great view at 5,400 ft. This was our third summer. Every year the unit got a bit dirtier. General cleaning was fine, but the more out of the way cleaning was not done. It is a very tough ride up the mountain, but worth it for the view and quiet.

When we got to the condo, they had given us the wrong door code, so we had to call the Host. They also gave us the wrong WiFi password, so we had to call the host again. From the description of the condo, we thought the condo was at ground level. It wasn’t. We had to go down stairs. The last step was tricky, and they need to paint a yellow strip on the last step of both sets of stairs. The TV in the guest bedroom did not work at all. I called the Host and was told that they would come look at it. They never came. The lights above the beds ( overhead lights) did not work in either bedroom. The TV was very difficult to figure out, so there should be info on what stations are available. The worst problem was that the sun came in very brightly in the late afternoon. There were no curtains, blinds or anything to help so we could not sit in the living room or do anything in the kitchen because the sun was so bright. They need to put tint/ blinds/ or curtains on the sliding door/windows as it was awful. The beds were comfortable.

Thank you for choosing Sugar Mountain and for your review. We are sorry for any confusion. This condo is a ground-level unit, but it is below the parking lot, requiring steps. All of the C and D units at The Reserves are lower-level units. A and B units are level with the parking area. We did make a typo on your key code. We apologize for this, but we corrected it immediately. The WiFi password was also addressed immediately. We did send someone up to check the TV. It is broken, and we have let the owner know to replace it. As for the lack of blinds, that is also up to the owner to have them or not. Many owners choose to leave the windows clear so that guests may enjoy the awesome views. We are glad your beds were comfortable, and hope you come to the mountain again!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views . Beds very comfortable. Only thing I would change is the furniture. As a senior, and with spinal issues, I prefer firmer seating. Would stay there again.
