Welcome to Stairway to Haven! We are beyond excited to have you stay. Ellijay has become a very special place to us. So many great ways to enjoy nature and the outdoors. The downtown area, apple orchards and wineries make for a unique destination and escape from the daily grind that we always look forward to experiencing. We were very fortunate to purchase this property in early 2022. We have spent over eight months transforming this property into a destination that our family really adores. We hope you will too! This home features a great room on the main level with living area, dining, and kitchen. Kitchen includes oversized island with four bar stools and is stocked with amenities. A unique barnwood lined fireplace is the center piece of the living room where traditional wood-burning fire can warm this cozy space that includes 55” Smart TV. Journey out to the back deck that is equipped with comfortable wicker furniture and breath-taking views of Mountaintown Creek. The main floor has two bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom is outfitted with King Size bed and luxury bedding / linens. The Master also has access to the back deck as well as 42” Smart TV mounted on the wall and on-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets. The basement level has a den also equipped with a 55” Smart TV and allows access to 3rd full bathroom and the bunkroom via sliding barn doors. In the back of the room is a game table with 4 stools and access out to the back patio as well as the gameroom. The gameroom has brand new foos ball and air hockey tables along with a rustic bar and TV area with couch and 65” Smart TV. The game cabinet contains classics and newer games to entertain your crew. Lots of natural light with the addition of the glass garage door / window. You can access both the driveway for a possible game of corn hole or the back patio. The back patio is setup for entertaining and enjoying the serenity of nature that surrounds you. There is a full dining table which sits up to 8 people and a fire pit area with more chairs. Find the brand new gas grill and Master Spas Hot Tub which comfortably fits 6 adults on this level along with a rollable beverage cooler.

For those that want to experience the mighty creek up close, take the stairs down to the river’s edge. There is a larger landing halfway down with two chairs and table as well. At the bottom find another fire pit (yes there are two on the property!), six more chairs, a picnic table, and stone stairway providing easiest access down the bank into the creek for wading, fishing, or just exploring this slice of haven. You truly may not want to leave your property at all. However, you are only about 6.6 miles to downtown Ellijay which is lined with unique local eateries and shops. You are 6.4 miles to the shopping center including Walmart in East Ellijay. Delivery is an option for food and groceries thanks to services like DoorDash. Downtown Blue Ridge is 22.5 miles away. You have great access to other attractions in the area including many apple orchards, wineries, hiking, carter’s lake, tubing on local rivers, Fort Mountain State park and Amicalola Falls to name a few highlights.
