Casa Camp Helen is a traditional white, coastal-cottage-style home nestled conveniently within walking distance of Camp Helen State Park, Lake Powell, and the beach. Privacy and tranquility are abundant here due to the home’s proximity to the non-commercialized areas of natural beauty: the state park and North America's largest coastal dune lake. The highlight of this home is the abundance of sports gear we offer for various solo or group activities.

The space

Upon opening the doors to our home you will find rooms filled with natural light, a modern interior, quality furniture, amenities, and a slew of water sports gear. The home is spread across two floors. The first floor offers an open and airy concept with access to a covered porch and the back patio. Also here, you will find a queen size bedroom. The second floor includes a luxurious main bedroom, a third bedroom with bunk beds, and a small office.

Our garage is stocked with plentiful options for activities for all ages. If the breathtaking emerald water and white sand are calling, you will find all the beach gear you need for a perfect day at the beach: beach chairs, a cooler, a wagon, a beach tent, towels, toys, bodyboards, and skimboards. There are three beach access points in near proximity of the house: Philips beach access: 12 min walking or 4 min biking or 2 minutes driving, Inlet Beach Access: 17 min walking or 6 min biking or 3 minutes driving and Lupine Beach Access which is closest to the state park. Inlet Beach Access Point has bathrooms, outdoor showers, and free limited parking available which makes it a unique access point for the area. If snorkeling is on your list, the Inlet Beach Access point is 920 ft away from one of the few artificial reefs in the area. This beach access also has wheelchair access, again one of the few in the area.

On non-beach days, we invite you to discover other activities you can do with your loved ones just by looking at the gear available in the garage: paddleboards, kayaks, bikes, longboards, or a water activity table (for the little ones). The community pool sits on Lake Powell and is within 5 minutes of walking distance. WI-FI is available at the pool. Take a paddleboard or the kayak on the lake and paddle to the Gulf of Mexico’s inlet on North America’s largest coastal dune lake. Take your time for this activity as you’ll want to notice the flora and fauna around you. After exploring the lake on water, visit Camp Helen State Park where you can often join a ranger-led nature walk to learn more about the nine distinct natural communities throughout the park.
The famous Rosemary Beach Farmers Market is a short 10 min biking stroll away and Alys Beach is 15 min away. Publix is 5 minutes away by car.
