The house worked great for us for a weekend of fishing! Very conveniently located, directly on the water. Only 100s of feet to the boat ramp, marina with gas on the water, ice, frozen bait etc. 3 minute cruise on a boat to open Gulf. The house was clean and has everything you need. The host Debra was extremely helpful, and accommodating. Great stay!

This house was comfortable, clean well organized with everything we needed. We loved the location and proximity to restaurants (excellent ones). We've stayed in many home rentals and would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I messaged the host she was very kind and informative. The property itself is amazing. You can’t beat the sunsets. Across the channel is a marina so it’s fun to watch the boats all day. Fishing was great and dolphins, manatees and other wildlife were visible everyday. The house was stocked w anything you’d need. I stayed for almost 2 weeks and had everything I could possibly need. There are several bars, restaurants and an ice cream shop within walking distance. If you want a relaxing place that’s clean and neat then this is your house. Can’t say enough good things about it. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Relaxing and convenient

We were right on the water and that worked perfect with our boat. Enjoyed the scalloping, fishing, and relaxation. We'll definitely stay here again.

Loved this home. Great location! Walking distance to several nice restaurants and bars with live music. Dog friendly was perfect for us.

Beautiful view, great location

We loved our stay at Pelican’s Landing. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony looking out over the water every morning and evening. The house was clean and comfortable. definitely somewhere our family would stay again.

We loved the fact that we could keep our boat tied to the floating dock and we were in the Gulf in a matter of minutes! We also loved the local restaurants and ice cream shop!!

Just the best Gulf location

No better place to stay on the Gulf in Florida. Loved watching all the boats go by on the canal system. Our 29' boat fit perfectly at the dock. Marina, ramp, and bait shop all very close by. Easy access to the Hudson channel. Fishing was great offshore. Hope to come back!

Amazing location!

Our family stayed for the 4th of July week. We brought our 29 ft boat and were able to dock at the house with no problem. The house is in a perfect location to the boat ramp and channel! The sunsets from the dining room table and balcony were gorgeous! The house had everything we needed and felt like “home”! We would definitely stay again!

Very cute home. Had everything we needed and lots of personal touches to be able to be more comfortable. Loved having coffee and walking the neighborhood. Ducks were quite enjoyable.

Absolutely beautiful home with everything needed to enjoy a wonderful stay! House was very clean and up to date on everything! We went out on a charter, Florida Fish Invaders who picked us up from the dock out side the back yard!!! I highly recommend Captain Billy if you choose to stay here which I believe is an absolute must!!! We saw tons of wildlife and beautiful sunsets while being close to everything you could need/want! Thank you!!!

We had a puppy with us and they had gifts waiting for him at check in. Everything was very clean and they had every kitchen utensil to household item you could possibly need. Very accommodating. Great views and neighborhood. Family and pet friendly.

Great View!

The view of the Gulf is great. Clean and well located. Kitchen was supplied with quality cookware and utensils. Beds are a little thin but comfortable. Stairs can be a challenge to some but it was good exercise.

Loved It!

I don’t want to oversell it because it could get booked when I want it! Great location and clean property. We had six people and two dogs, two of those being my college age sons. We had a great time and Debra was super responsive and helpful when we needed her. I think the property is being sold so I hope the new owners keep it on VRBO! Getting the boat in and out was very easy and marina is 50 yards away for fuel and bait. Can’t wait to go back!

Awesome!

We stayed here over the holidays. The host was very accommodating, adding on a night for us, and allowing us to get in an hour or two early to get a golf cart delivery. She was also in communication throughout the stay when we had any questions, which was great. There are many positives about this property. It is close to most things, being able to walk or bike or golf cart to Sam’s on the beach, Ollies, pizzeria, Roscoes, Greek, restaurant, ice cream, get hooked, fisherman‘s shack, and bait shop.The community is golf cart friendly, and we would recommend Geoff at SunWest golf carts. The house in itself requires two flights of stairs, which was fine, but a lot when you are bringing things up. The whole living area is upstairs. It is cozy. The owners have done an amazing job with the room that they have. Lots of little touches that were appreciated like a treat, laundry and dish soap, toilet paper, these things that we needed right away, and eventually replaced. The view is nice, and the dark is fun. I liked the locking system, and not having to worry about keys. Everything was in good shape and condition, and the place was spotless. The host even emailed me to tell me there was a Christmas tree. A very nice touch. Some things to consider that are not necessarily negatives. There is only one TV in the main room, and I did not notice this until we arrived that there are no TVs in the bedrooms. You also need to have Netflix or prime video as there is no cable.

First, I want to say that I mean this in a very respectful way and am not saying anything negative about the house or our stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and communication with the host was excellent.One thing that caught us by surprise was how close the house is to the marina. The pictures made it appear farther away, and we were initially concerned about weekend boat traffic and people getting close to our boat while it was docked. Thankfully, everything turned out fine, but it was closer than we expected based on the listing (which is my own fault—pictures can sometimes be misleading).The only suggestion I would make is that some shade on the balcony would be wonderful. The outdoor space and views were enjoyable, but a little more shade would make it even more comfortable during the warmer parts of the day without having to walk down all the stairs.That said, the little touches throughout the home more than made up for any concerns we had. It was clear that a lot of thought went into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and appreciated the accommodations. These are simply observations that may help future guests and are not intended as criticism of the property, which we found to be very nice.
