The house was as expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. As far as St. Thomas, be sure to open every conversation with good morning, good afternoon or good evening or you WILL be treated very poorly by the locals.

Great place for our family of 4! The views were amazing, the outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Location was excellent too, only about 5 minutes from Megan’s Bay and roughly 10–20 minutes from all the other activities and beaches we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again!

An amazing getaway

My husband and I stayed for a week to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The property was immaculate and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed lounging by the pool with the ocean breeze daily. We loved our stay!

The time spent at sun view was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty, tranquility and sounds of the ocean as we enjoyed our vacation. The place has all of the amenities and space to truly relax and be on ‘island time’. Can’t wait until our next trip back!!

This villa surpassed our expectations. The views are breathtaking, the outdoor spaces are perfect, communication and checkin/check out were exceptional. We traveled with 3 couples and this villa was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Amazing views, and comfortability! My wife and I had misread that there was no air conditioning in the main parts of the house, but after the first day the breezes cooled things down a bit in the main living areas. The bedrooms were spacious and quite comfortable. Carrie was very responsive and was quick to answer any questions or accommodations. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Home with Breathtaking Views

We stayed at Sea View Villa for almost 2 weeks in February and it was amazing. There were views of the Virgin Islands from every room and amazing sliding doors to feel that sea breeze. We never missed air conditioning in the common spaces (the AC in bedrooms was great)! This was also one of the best equipped kitchens I've experienced - it had everything (and more) that we needed. There was plenty of outdoor seating - 6 lounge chairs and a dozen other outdoor seating options that were very comfortable. The pool was partly in the shade for most of the day, which was perfect for us as we had a toddler and 2 children. Carrie and Megan were so responsive to every question, comment and request - they made our first trip to St. Thomas seamless and SO enjoyable!

Birthday Celebration

This Vrbo was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped and well-stocked. The view was spectacular. Even with 6 adults, there was room for individual privacy if "alone time" was needed. We used the grill to make several meals. Phone calls were promptly answered and issues quickly resolved. If you're a light sleeper, you may not want to choose the bedroom closest to the room with the pump.(We ran dishwasher at night). One suggestion, if you're going out in the evening, turn on the outside light so you can see the steps when you return.

Wow…just Wow!

Seaview was exceptional…the VIEW. My husband and I must have muttered “this is just unreal” to each other 10x a day! Located on a cliff above the NE side of the island every morning was the most beautiful sunrise and then evenings were the best sound of crashing waves to lull you to sleep.Driving around STT is not easy but Carrie and Pam from SVI gave us perfect directions and recommendations.I would say it is about 15-20 min to get to anywhere you would like to go on island - Red Hook for ferry, Tutu for grocery, Magens Bay….easy easy.The house itself is clean, HUGE, well stocked, breezy and actually not lacking a thing! We left just a few hours ago and we are already sad sad sad to miss that VIEW - morning coffee and reading was just the absolute best!!!

Absolutely stunning property and views

Our party included 4 adults and a toddler & we were at Sea View for an entire week. The property is in terrific condition and the views are stunning! Sea View has everything you will need for a comfortable stay at the property, whether you're cooking in or eating out. As stated in the listing, the common areas (i.e. living room & kitchen) do not have AC, but the constant 15 knot wind helps cool everything nicely. The AC units in the bedrooms all work excellent and keep the bedrooms nice and cool. We opted to have the pool heated, and it was ready for us upon check-in! We were a little apprehensive bringing our 2.5 year old with us, but Sea View is a perfect villa to better "manage" little ones. Lots of open space inside and then the pool/deck space was perfect for her to enjoy--along with a minimal number of stairs from the parking area to the villa. Eating meals on the deck is a must, as the views down island and of the other VI's are just too good to not fully take in! Carrie & Megan were very responsive to our questions and I would definitely book a property under their management again. Overall, a solid 5-stars for us during our stay & I would highly recommend Sea View for anyone looking at a villa vs. a hotel for their stay on St. Thomas!

Well, we’re here. 😏

I have to say I was disappointed. The upkeep of the house wasn’t what I expected; the Indoor light fixtures, faucets and exterior doors were very rusty. The pool took 2 days to heat and the palm tree’s left “rabbit turds” all over the patio. There are A LOT of stairs just to get to the front door. (Zero fun with luggage!!) We were given 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person which has never happened in all my travel. I guess I’m spoiled but usually there’s a few bottles of water for arriving guests, there was zip and the shower gel/ shampoo/ conditioner was emptyThe basement bedroom smells like mold. My son had a very yucky runny nose while there. The master bedroom tv is hilarious wall laptop. There no tv in the downstairs armoire but full on antiquated x boxes and PlayStation games. Also Don’t cook, the kitchen & living room are HOT. So in all, the house needs major care and guest services need thoughtful improvement. The view was splendid.

Thank you for your feedback- We are constantly striving for an excellent guest experience, and we are sorry for the insufficient supply of towels and shower products. In those areas we fell short and immediately corrected the issue at the beginning of your stay. We have since changed cleaning companies responsible for restocking supplies and preparing for guest arrivals so that will not happen again. We take great pride in Sea View’s unique features as a tropical cliffside paradise with palm trees and other tropical flowering plants that do drop leaves/seed pods over the course of a week of tropical breezes. There are approximately 15 steps to enter the villa from the road, it is common here due to the hilly nature of the island and is included in our property description. We also explain in the property listing that there is air conditioning in all bedrooms but not in the common spaces. There are ceiling fans and standing fans throughout the house along with many glass sliding doors and windows that open to allow the trade winds to cool the rooms while offering Sea View’s spectacular views and signature sounds of the surf on the cliffs. You were advised the pool heater would take at least 24 hours to come up to temperature and the fee was waived for your first day (as the prior guests elected not to use the heated feature). We were pleased to return the following day to confirm a very warm and comfortable 93 degrees was achieved as promised! All guests are offered to have food/drink supplies pre-stocked upon arrival and we are sorry that you regret not taking advantage of this service we provide. Sea View has double filtered water available in the villa via UV treatment of all water and additional cannister filtration through the refrigerator ice/water dispenser. Although cable televisions are available in the living room and master BR, the property owners have chosen not to feature TV/video games at Sea View and we are sorry this left you disappointed during your stay. WiFi allows guests to stream customized content on their personal devices, which is preferred these days based on guest feedback. Sea View Villa is a very popular rental villa that customarily receives raving compliments, many 5 star reviews, and enjoys hosting returning guests annually.
