With wood-lined walls and mountain-inspired decor, this three-story cabin provides a charming escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Start your day with morning coffee on the furnished front porch. Two screened side porches offer more space to unwind with a beverage or a vacation read. Take a leisurely soak in the deck's hot tub, then fire up the gas grill for an at-home barbecue. In the evenings, roast marshmallows while you watch the stars come out around the wood-burning firepit.

Find more space to unwind in the cabin's living area, outfitted with a gas fireplace and a TV. Downstairs, you'll find another TV and an electric fireplace, as well as a foosball table and an air hockey table that provide added entertainment. Channel your inner chef in the well-equipped kitchen. When it's time to eat, break bread together at the dining table. Additional perks of this cabin include a washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, and high-speed WiFi.

Spend your afternoons hiking scenic trails that are a short drive from home. Or, book a tee time at the nearby Whitepath Golf Club.

The resort has updated how guests gain access to the amenities on site. The guest will be responsible for purchasing amenity passes at the POA office. Monday-Saturday 9 am- 5 pm. Amenity passes are $59 per card. Each card allows 4 guests to use the amenities during the reservation dates. The POA only takes checks or money orders for payments.

The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day only.

Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Comfy cabin stay

This cabin was everything we were looking for and more: comfy, clean, amenities, privacy, wifi, beautiful and peaceful setting, authentic cabin feel with modern conveniences we are used to as well as safety of gated community and a quick drive to everything we were interested in. Will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful and clean cabin

Everything you need for a short weekend or longer vacation. Perfect getaway. Only thing I would recommend is more info given on community amenities and access as well as gate codes etc.

Secluded Sanctuary!

Nice and quiet neighbor hood in the hills. Deer walking right outside the door. I had a nice quiet week.

We loved the cabin and the kids loved the cubby beds. It was easy to find and very cozy. We couldn’t figure out how to adjust the heat so at times it was cold. Directions on how to set it would have been nice to have. We enjoyed our stay.

Tha cabin was amazing

We love the cabin the only sad part is that we had no water for 3 and 1/2 days and as of now I’m still waiting for a response to get some credit for that it was crazy disappointed we had to use the jacuzzi water for toilet and didn’t shower for 3 days 😳

Nice and secluded, but needs updating.

I loved the location and the layout of the property; however, the furniture and furnishings inside need some updating and/or replacement. Notably, the foosball was broken when we tried playing it the first time. The house was clean upon our arrival, and it was equipped with everything that we needed. Would I stay at this property again? I'm really not sure. I think I might look around next time.

First Trip to Ellijay, GA

We wanted to explore north Georgia in hopes of buying a cabin somewhere in the mountains so we rented this cabin to check out the area. We loved this cabin and the Coosawatee River Resort. It feels so private and secluded but you are minutes away from pools and other recreation. We wished we could stay longer, enjoying the hot tub on the porch, playing air hockey down in the game room, taking the time to tube down the river, etc. The kitchen was well stocked which we appreciate because we do all our own cooking. The gas grill is located right outside of the kitchen on the upper deck. We will be back again!!

Very clean but warm

The house was very clean upon arrival! We had a small problem with batteries missing from remotes but when we contacted Vacasa they replied promptly and got our batteries ASAP! The beds was comfortable as well as the living room furniture. The only problem was the upstairs does not cool off good at all. There’s only 1 tub/shower combo which is downstairs and the upstairs is shower only.

Lovely!

Very family-friendly cabin. Clean, good wi-fi connection, lots of games, great hot tub. We had a good time. (When you get to the property gate, use the call button for the attendant & use the BL # listed in the confirmation email. NOT the same as the door code. The roads are a bit confusing & Siri struggled to get us to the actual address. But after arrival we were able to get in/out without any trouble.)

Cozy, family friendly cabin in the woods

We loved our stay here. Our kids loved the little twin bed nooks in the loft area with their own private TV’s where they could watch America’s Funniest Home Videos each night before bed. :) The entire family enjoyed foosball matches in the game room downstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and eat meals (no kitchen towels, however, so had to use paper towels). Gameroom downstairs was a lot of fun, especially the foosball table. Living room furniture was very comfortable. Outdoor spaces including the multiple screen porches and the fire pit were very nice with comfortable furniture. The queen bed upstairs was too soft and not supportive, but this could easily be fixed with a new mattress. It’s likely the owners just aren’t aware. We would absolutely return!! This wouldnt keep me from returning, but one thing I wish I would have known to expect is that the road back to the cabin once you enter the gated community is very winding, steep at times, and narrow at times. Can be a little unsettling if you’re anxious about those things, but we got used to it. The driveway is not steep at all. Definitely recommend this cabin overall for a wonderful family getaway!

Great home, horrible customer service

We showed up Friday evening to an uncleaned unit. Beds sheets dirty, dishes in dishwasher, dirty floors, and piles of dirty towels in the showers. We were back and forth with multiple Vacasa employees just trying to get some laundry detergent so we could wash the sheets. They led us to believe someone would either show up with detergent or they would move us to a new cabin. At around 9pm we gave up on Vacasa and pulled off the old sheets and slept on whatever clean towels or comforters we could find. The next day we started all over again with the Vacasa team run around. Finally around noon the cleaners showed up with detergent and we had to wash all of our own stuff. We spent more than half of our weekend get away doing all the things we were trying to get away from. It was extremely frustrating. The unit is very nice, the kids loved the game room downstairs. Unfortunately we will not book through Vacasa again. It should be noted we did receive a refund on the cleaning fee, but after spending half our vacation trying to get anyone there to call us, that just didn't feel like enough.
