R & R River Retreat est une belle maison de 3 chambres à coucher, 3 salles de bain, 3 étages en bois rond, située sur la rivière Coosawattee. Elle comprend: cheminée, télévision par satellite, sauna intérieur. En tant qu'un des propriétés acceptant les animaux domestiques de Sliding Rock Cabin - il n'y a pas de frais pour les animaux et dispose d'un jardin clôturé.
L'étage principal a 2 chambres à coucher, 1 salle de bain. 1 chambre a un lit king et télévision par satellite, et l'autre a une chambre queen avec lecteur DVD qui est compatible BluRay et WIFI (pas de câble).
A l'étage, la suite principale dispose d'un lit king avec plateau-coussin, d'une télévision par satellite, d'une salle de bains, d'un porche privé et d'une cafetière Keurig.
Le niveau patio a la troisième salle de bain complète, salle de jeux avec table de billard et télévision avec lecteur DVD compatible BluRay et WIFI.

Partez en randonnée sur les sentiers de montagne d'Ellijay et de Blue Ridge, essayez la pêche à la mouche, puis regardez le fleuve passer le soir ou blottissez-vous près de la cheminée et regardez un vieux film sur votre téléviseur grand écran. Peut-être dormir tard sur le lit king size à l'étage et prendre un café sur votre porche couvert privé. R & R River Retreat est une escapade parfaite pour un maximum de six personnes. Aucun propriétaire de chat n'est très allergique.

Le Coosawattee River Resort offre gratuitement: 5 parcs de la rivière pour la pêche sans permis, un hangar pour enfants, un pont suspendu et un parc pour chiens clôturé. Le pont et le parc à chiens clôturé sont tous deux accessibles à pied depuis le R & R.

Great pet friendly cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this was a great cabin. It is beautiful and so peaceful. Deer are everywhere and they will let you feed them corn from just 1-2 feet away. Everything was clean, the hot tub, sauna, everything, which isn’t always the case at others we have stayed. This cabin had everything for the dogs and they had the best time! We were able to access the river like we thought we would be able to, the embankment is too high to fish or swim directly behind the cabin. Also, there was a burn ban our entire stay, so were unable to use the fire pit.

Best cabin ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is very well appointed and has everything you could possible need. The driveway is a little scary at first, but after going up and down it a couple of times it’s fine. The scenery is amazing, we had a bunch of deer come by to nibble on feed bought for them. The fishing was ok, my son caught one bass (I think) and was happy. We wound up not bringing our pup, but I would rate this 5-star in terms of being dog-friendly. The entire bottom deck is gated and the gated area for bathroom-time is more than sufficient for a dog to do its business. We loved it and would love to return!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the R&R River Retreat. The cabin and grounds are well-kept and very nice. We had a wonderful 4 nights. Highly recommended!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay here. It was what we expected for rest and relaxation. The beds were comfortable. We built a campfire at the firepit and made smores. We built a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with Kerig,coffee pot, crockpot,kitchen scissors and panini maker. The only thing missing was a can opener. There was a nice screened in porch to sit and look down at the river (which has a few rapids just not time of year to be in the water). We saw 4 deer walk right up one morning and one night a buck on the property. There are crows and squirrels also. I would stay here again. 😀

R&R River Retreat

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We originally booked this cabin because it was advertised as being on the river. Based on that, we assumed it would be more easily accessible and not located high up in the mountains—but that wasn’t the case. The cabin is about a 15-minute drive up winding mountain roads, which can be pretty nerve-wracking if you’re not used to that type of driving. There are no guardrails and little to no room for error, which made coming and going stressful.The road directly leading to the cabin was another challenge. The listing described it as “moderately steep,” but that felt like an understatement. It’s significantly steeper than expected and may be difficult for some vehicles or drivers.One thing to note is that you don’t receive the exact address or directions until about 10 days prior to your stay, so by then you’re already committed.On the positive side, the rental company was very communicative and easy to work with, which we appreciated.As for the cabin itself, the rooms were smaller than anticipated. The bottom floor stayed very cold and we weren’t able to get it to a comfortable temperature during our stay. Additionally, the shower on the lower level requires a bit of a step up to get into—something to be aware of—and the water pressure overall was fairly weak.Overall, the cabin just wasn’t the right fit for us. The stress of getting to and from the property ended up taking away from the relaxing vacation experience we were hoping for.

Nice cabin, not remote

Cabin was nice and clean. Not remote at all, there is a busy campground across the River from the cabin that was very loud and you have neighbors on both sides. The cabin had everything we needed for a four day stay and was comfortable. Despite the noise we had a very nice time.

My husband’s 50th birthday!

The whole family went to the cabin to celebrate his milestone birthday. It was absolutely wonderful the owners did a great job with making it feel just like home. My only complaint is that the driveway is too steep for comfort.

Great Cabin!

Great Cabin! Pet Friendly! Very Clean! Well-stocked kitchen! Great amenities- streaming tv, jacuzzi, sauna, on-property hiking and water access, fire pit, porch swing, picnic table, fenced dog area, pool table, foozball, board games, grill, porch friendly; as well as community amenities- trails, pools, stables, gym, tennis, pickle ball, fishing, etc! Had a great stay! Can’t wait to reserve again! Will pass on referrals! Thanks for the hospitality!

They were so beautiful and ensured their friends new we had the goods: corn, watermelon, apples and more. Its the most deer we've ever seen in our lives. The cabin was lovely, inviting, beautifully set next to the river. Thank you for a wonderful vacation with our friends and our pups.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We choose Sliding Rock Cabins because they are dog friendly and it did not disappoint. The cabin was well appointed with all the little things that make staying with a dog easy. Clean and comfy. Once beyond the resort gate, the roads are narrow, paved until the very last few tenths of a mile. It was windy yet easy to get to from the directions provided, but we were not comfortable driving in the dark. We cooked at the cabin and had everything we need.
