Love this home

Great Stay

The Lake View House was such an incredible place to stay at. The house was very clean, the pots and pans provided for cooking were exceptional. The owner gave great communication and easy check-in and out. Would definitely recommend this place. The house has a breathtaking view in which we always woke up early to view the sunrise with some coffee.

The accommodations were awesome, we had a fabulous time at this property. The host was attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the owner and the property to others.

Amazing!

This is a fantastic property with a great host! Plenty of room, kitchen has all tools you need, deck is huge. The views are just incredible and words do not do it justice. Everything was just as the listing states but even better. Would definitely stay again when in the area. If you want a great place for a family get together, this is for you.

Good for all

Variety of activity required in our group — paddle boarding, biking to talking, reading — everyone found a happy spot . Beautiful location and views. Dogs had a great time … plenty of place to run.

Beautiful Getaway

My family and I were in town from Southern California for a race at the fairgrounds. Jack was accomodating for our three big trailers and the house was remarkable. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed our stay in this amazing home.

Our family had a relaxing time at the lake house. The beds & couch were very comfy. The host has a great attention to detail and made sure things are available for the guests. Perfect house for an intimate event

My family and a few friends stayed the entire weekend. We hosted an intimate gather with family and friends and the house was completely perfect. Everyone loved this home. The layout of great for entertaining and relaxing. The view is beyond stunning! We highly recommend this property.

Weekend gathering

My family was coming together in COttage Grove for a celebration of life, this house was perfect for my family of 4 plus my Dad and mother in law (and my sister stayed on an air mattress one night). Wide open spaces with elegance everywhere. On top of the amazing property, interactions with Jacquelyn were prompt and very considerate/accommodating. Please stay here...I promise you will not regret it!r

Girls weekend

Beautiful place loved it. We believe the listing should be rewritten to say sleep 8 not 12. There are only beds for 8. Air beds should not be included as they are something to provide extra if needed. Also having some sound proofing pictures on walls area rug something to absorb sound. It can get very loud with lots of voices. Also not enough silverware and coffee mugs when all are adults. Again you your place is beautiful and we really did enjoy our stay.

Bridal Shower and Family Place

We all absolutely loved this space we rented when we all traveled to Cottage Grove for a family wedding. I rented it to serve as both the bridal shower location and in general as a place for various family members to stay. We had 22 guests at the bridal shower and all fit comfortably. The host graciously loaned us a few more items we needed such as folding tables and an extra hot water kettle. There was plenty of parking for our 22 guests (some carpooled, but there were still a lot of vehicles that fit in the driveway) and the setting (with that gorgeous lake in the background) was appreciated by everyone. For those of us staying the whole week at the house, we loved getting up in the morning to sit on the porch swing with coffee and watch deer and turkey in the yard while the fog burned off the lake in the background. So serene. The beds were comfortable (with plenty of extra blankets in the closet for those who needed it) and the kitchen had nearly everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves. We would definitely rent this space again!
