Maison de Joie (House of Joy) is an incredibly beautiful beach retreat, professionally decorated in bright whites, calming neutrals, and soothing blue hues. This charming 3-story home features 5 bedrooms and 3 separate living/entertainment areas, making it perfect for multiple families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing getaway.

You will appreciate the beauty of this home the moment you step inside. The main open-concept living area welcomes you with plenty of seating and a TV for entertainment. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen features a coffee maker, a two-door refrigerator, and an island with a gas range and seating for 4. Adjacent to the kitchen is a formal dining area with seating for 6 or more. Completing the first floor are a half bathroom, a laundry area, and a back patio with a gas grill, perfect for outdoor gatherings.

There is a convenient 1st floor bedroom suite with 3 more bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor features an amazing space for the kids with a separate seating area and room with 4 built-in beds. Each bathroom is a true spa experience. We know it'll definitely be hard to leave this slice of paradise.

Sleeping Arrangements - Sleeps 16:
1st Floor, Bedroom 1: Queen bed, TV. Private bathroom with dual sinks and walk in shower.
2nd Floor Bedroom 2: King bed, TV and balcony access. Private bathroom with tub and separate shower.
2nd Floor Bedroom 3: King bed, TV.
2nd Floor Bedroom 4: King bed, TV.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 share hallway bath with shower.
3rd Floor, Bedroom 5: 4 full beds. Shared hallway bathroom with dual sinks and tub/shower combo.

Beach Access:
Enjoy FREE tram service from March - October to (and from!) your beach access across 30A at Sunset Beach. Just walk to the nearest designated tram stop and call for pickup. The tram should arrive within 15 minutes. It runs 7 days a week, starting at 9 AM with the last pickup from the beach at 5:30 PM.
Distance: .4 miles | Time: 7 minutes walking

Seacrest Beach II:
The showstopper of the area is the 12,000 square-foot lagoon pool. With a waterfall, fountain, and children's splash area we know you'll find your perfect pool day at Seacrest. Surrounded by palm trees and poolside loungers, it might be hard to split your time between this pool and the beautiful Gulf.

* Golf carts are not allowed in the Seacrest Beach community.
* Parking for 3 cars.

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Beautiful home. We were bummed beach was sectioned off and so crowded…not enough space for such a large community.

We had trouble with the dead bolt a couple times on both the front and back doors. Also, when we checked in the couch was soaking wet. We couldn’t use it for most of the weekend because it was drying, that was a bummer. We really hoped to check in early and were told we could when cleaning was done. Cleaning was completed and we called for an early check in and were told no, they had to come inspect it still. We sat at the house waiting for check in and no one ever came to inspect it which was frustrating.

Regarding early check-in, we do offer this option when possible, but it is not guaranteed as each property must be fully cleaned and inspected prior to guest arrival. While a property might appear ready from the outside, there are sometimes a few touch-ups or final inspections that need to be completed before check-in. Should the property be ready prior to 4 PM, guests are always notified. That said, we recommend planning for the standard check-in time of 4 PM to avoid any unexpected delays. Wonderful family vacation!

This was our first time vacationing on 30A...and we all absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect ~ the home is gorgeous, and the shuttle to and from the beach access was very convenient. We had perfect weather every day. Everything was so convenient to get to ~ the grocery store is just about 2 miles away...so many great restaurants nearby, shopping, ice cream shops for the kids. We rented bikes and boogie boards for the kids and it was all dropped off at the house and then picked up the day we checked out. And the chair and umbrella rental on the beach was so convenient! All questions we asked from the property management were answered immediately ~ Great vacation!

This lovely home is CLEAN and beautifully decorated with simple, crisp beach decor. There are many lounging spaces and a fabulous third floor for kids, teens and/or an entire family. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need without clutter or mismatched serve ware. Overall, this home and its amenities allowed for an easy, stress-free vacation.

Overall Experience

House and Beach were incredible! Beach management personnel named Stacy was difficult to communicate with. She gave us mixed messages on check in times and I never received any kind of follow up email or message after registering for wristbands, so having never been to this area, we had no idea where to go to check in. After a very long day of travel and finishing the check in process, our stay was beyond fabulous!

In regards to the wristbands and passes, we had sent the link for registration as well as information regarding where to pick up on September 20 and 27. This was in the guidebook. Poor Response to items not working at property

When we first arrived we reported a fan was not working and they never let us know where the remote was to use it. Smoke detector had been removed and they didn’t re-install until half way through the week. Stove hood wouldn’t work, so we couldn’t cook on the stove. We were told the owners said the stove was fine. Without hood, there was an overwhelming smell of gas when stove and oven were turned on…After we received that message regarding the owners saying nothing needing to be fixed we tried to cook on the stove and the smoke detector went off…...we reported it yet again and no one was sent to fix it until the night before we left. We had to throw out all of the food we bought since the stove/oven couldn’t be used. On top of that, it was really hard to get in touch with anyone and when we did, they weren’t very helpful. It was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental. The one positive thing to this place is that it is beautifully decorated. Outside of that, I would not recommend this place.

Guest safety and satisfaction is our top priority, which is why we had a local gas company as well as an appliance vendor come to assess the kitchen ventilation system and the stove. Our maintenance team went out behind them to ensure we know how to properly assist our guests should a concern like this ever arise in the future at any of our properties. We did take multiple calls and respond to your text messages, as we do not leave any messages unanswered before we leave each day.
