We're sorry the apartment wasn't as comfortable as it should have been during your stay. Your visit happened during an exceptionally hot stretch of weather, and unfortunately the air conditioner struggled to keep up with the extreme temperatures. We wish we had known during your stay that it wasn't cooling adequately, as we would have done everything we could to address it right away. After our next guests also reported that the air conditioner wasn't working properly, we replaced the unit during their stay to ensure future guests are comfortable. Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. This is a **budget-friendly loft at approximately $80/night**, and the steep stairs, slanted ceilings, layout, and A/C setup are clearly shown in our listing photos and description. Guests are encouraged to review these details before booking. The A/C was **replaced with a brand-new unit last month**, and we have not had ongoing complaints about its performance. Our blankets and linens are also cleaned and maintained using standard lodging practices. Regarding the shower, our cleaning staff did not leave it running. The property was checked before arrival. During your stay, the shower was found running and water was leaking through the ceiling into our business below. You mentioned by phone that you had needed to leave for the ER, which we understood was unexpected. The leak was significant enough that we had to hire a professional property management company the next day to assess and dry the ceiling, costing us approximately **$500**. We understand every property is not a fit for every guest, but many concerns mentioned here are clearly disclosed in our listing.
