Convenient to Pettit Center

Great location, close to rink and restaurants. Very clean, adequately equipped for 6 adults .. any more would have been a bit of struggle. Would stay again.

Great weekend getaway

House was just like advertised! Everything was great! Owner very fast at responding and very helpful. Very nice neighbors. I highly recommend staying here. Very quiet neighborhood with easy access to all of Milwaukee.

Our time at the property was great. Advertised exactly how it was. House was perfect. Location was great. Easy commute to downtown Milwaukee. Friendly neighbors and great neighborhood. We would stay at this location again.

Long weekend in West Allis

I like this house and have stayed here before, to do some speed skating at the nearby Pettit National Ice Center. There was a slight issue with accessing the house when I arrived because the entry code didn't work. However, I really appreciated that the host was immediately available to unlock the door and provide a new code that worked, even though I arrived in the middle of the night. I would stay here again.

Good neighborhood, comfortable accommodation but more can be done to make it safer.

Six adults were stayed while attending a family funeral in town. Location is in good neighborhood where I didn’t feel unsafe walking at night. Interior of home was kept up but there were a few places near parking slot by alley where there were 4 foot high steel/wood posts with screws, bolts and other metal pieces sticking out that needs to be removed. It may have been part of a fence at one time but now it’s an accident waiting to happen.

West Allis skating camp

I stayed here to do a week of speed skating at the Pettit National Ice Center, and this house was convenient. Check-in was really easy, which helps if you're arriving late at night: You just get the entry code. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen appliances were all new, so it's great if you want the kind of stay where you get groceries and cook. The most convenient room to stay in is the 1st floor bedroom with the bathroom next to it. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs but the 2nd bathroom is in the basement. I especially appreciated the new rental discount, and for me to stay here was cheaper than staying in most hotels. With a group it would be even cheaper as long as folks don't mind the 2nd bathroom being in the basement. I would stay here again.

The property was unkept and the house wasn’t as clean as it should have been.

Upon arrival, access to the house was extremely easy and communication with the host was fast and easy. The property was littered with random pieces of trash and cigarette butts. The shed attached to the garage in the back of the house was full of trash that looked to be recent. The inside of the home was very cute and nostalgic, but not “clean”.

Thank you Michael you and your group were great guests. We always appreciate feedback since we are new to hosting. I would just like to address some points in the review: 1. The shed is clearly advertised as owner’s property( we actually rent it out to a neighbor). 2. We are trying to understand the not “clean”. The home isn’t modern so might not have that sleaky clean look. However if there was anything not sanitary please let us know through our message thread so we can discuss it with our cleaning crew and prepare adequately for the next guest! We are happy you enjoyed and feel free to stay again! Levi

Gal's out to bowl.

We were a group of 7 on a bowling trip. There is not a lot that we need but a cool place to hang out and sleep. There are many little things that can be overlooked. If you can at least be able to sleep without sweating your butt off. We had no issues getting checked in or out. The parking permit for the temporary overnight parking pass was easy to do once we knew how to do it. You could tell that the house was on the older side. It had its own little kinks. One of the things was, the stairs are very interesting to climb. They are shallow and a little steep. One of the bathrooms, the door hits the toilet also, if you need a lot of counter space in the bathroom, there is not a lot in either bathroom. But all of this could be overlooked if you could just get some air upstairs so it wasn't hotter than hell when you try to sleep. We found it odd that the thermostat would change automatically during the night. Which made the upstairs unbearably hot. We had a hard time using the backyard. The grass and weeds were a little high and the esthetics were off pleasing.
