Quiet Cozy Home Minutes Away From Downtown. The perfect home away from home located in the heart of Northeast Columbia. Equipped with all of the essentials, this Columbia home is great for USC parents or families seeking a weekend getaway, folks who are attending sporting events, military ceremonies, concerts, anniversaries and more. This beautifully maintained home is in a quiet residential neighborhood minutes from Ft. Jackson, USC, Downtown Columbia, Lake Murray and located about 6 miles away from local shopping and dining.
This was a great experience. We have never done a Vrbo before but this was amazing and we will be using more. This location was only 2 miles from my family that we were visiting so great location. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.
We were in town for a wedding and preferred to find a VRBO instead of staying in a local motel. This home clean & is beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and perfectly located with in a few minutes drive of the wedding venue.
We stayed for three days and mostly used the house in the evenings. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. In a nice neighborhood and close to Ft. Jackson Army Base. Lots of places to eat and grocery stores near by.
A group of Ladies were in town for LuLaRoe Kickoff meetings at the warehouse. It was so close to the warehouse, and a quick run for groceries, food and coffee. Always got a quick response from the owner. 3 bedrooms with beds for 2 was perfect and great bathroom set up for us all to get ready. Thanks so much!
We were here for our son's graduation from basic training. This rental was perfect for our purpose. Close enough to Ft Jackson but far enough for peace and quiet. Great house! Loved the binder with all the information regarding things to do,restaurants and shopping. House is close to grocery store, restaurants, fuel etc..A beautiful house for the cost of an average hotel room.
Everything was almost perfect. The neighborhood was very quiet and that was appreciated greatly. The The owner could invest in furniture for the bedrooms. There were no chest of drawers to put your clothes in and we were there for eleven days.
We were three golfers and all had our own bedrooms with a single bed. Had we been a foursome, one of the smaller bedrooms would need two small beds to accommodate a golf group.
Since we were three, this house was perfect for us. It is located near three golf courses in Blythewood. Would gladly rent again.
This was a nice house for our family to stay in while we were in Columbia for my sonâs graduation from basic training. A couple of things we found slightly odd and inconvenient included no extra toilet paper for bathrooms, limited soap for dishwasher, limited cooking resources (no sheet pan and extremely limited cooking utensils) no way to wash dishes by hand, few extra blankets for beds, no kitchen linens and very few trash bags. If you have 3 or fewer people in your group, the amount of toilet paper and trash bags would probably be suitable, however, for a larger group of 6, it was not enough. Items like mirrors in bedrooms, hand towel racks, and a stocked kitchen would make this place a 10!
This week was a big deal for our military family. A kitchen to cook in, & 3 bedrooms was perfect! The host was communicative through everything. Answered all my q's very quick. When we arrived, it seemed good until I went to make pasta. Cookware is LIMITED (one 2-q pot, tiny saucepan, 10 inch frying pan) Pulled the pot from the cupboard, dirty. Cooking utensils, also limited (DULL knives.) But, all dirty. Either food bits, or sticky. Kitchen was underwhelming; only cooked one meal. The couch in the living room, felt like you were sliding off. Second huge disappointment: the beds. Q: Why would anyone wrap a mattress in what resembles a shower curtain? There are many options for good protectors that don't sound or feel like sleeping on straight plastic. My bed was lumpy, and stained sheets; conveniently placed toward the foot of the bed. The mattress was used for an extended time by one person that slept in the same spot as it was sunk in, and very hard. My brother said "I'd rather sleep on the stairs or in the driveway" than on the plastic wrapped, hard bed of the other bedroom. (I wouldn't suggest the stairs, the carpet is pretty dirty) The master, also very hard, covered in awful plastic. Overall, this was too expensive for the lack of amenities. DECENT mattress protectors don't sound or feel like shower curtains; found on Amazon less than $20 a piece. Decent pan assortment for less than $60. I would also say a curved shower curtain rod ($25) would help that narrow shower.
From the time we Walked In Everything was amazing. Clean and A very Homie feeling everything made us Feel like We Never wanted To Leave. Everyone Needs To Stay Hereâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Over all very clean. Beds not to comfy.Needed cookie sheet and could not locate one. Was surprised to receive a text about the garage door was open. Easy location to stores.
