My Spring Get-Away

The hosts and property were great. Check in was smooth. The location on the beach was convenient. Downsides were: the indoor pool was under renovation; units on either side (not owned by our hosts) were rented to young party people who were noisy and obviously invited large numbers of people to their party; and on the other side we had a Pot Smoker who smoked on his balcony making it impossible to sit out there and he constantly yelled at people below in the outdoor pools; and he smoked in the apartment causing pot smell to enter our apartment through the bathroom vents which must be inter-connected. Although we did not contact the office across the street regarding these issues we are not likely to rent this property again. It would behoove the rental manager to monitor the units for quality of life issues. I realize that with multiple owners this is cumbersome but feel it would improve relations with people who rent the units.

The inside of the room was nice. Bathroom is not shown in the images and it is terribly outdated. We were only given 4 towels for 4 people for a whole week. There is a smoke stain on the roof of the balcony that is a bit concerning. My husband is a firefighter and said something was on fire there at one point. The building however is not overly nice. People from alleyways were coming into the pool area throughout the day and were NOT staying at our building. No one was there monitoring. Bracelets were given and no one in the pool area using the amenities we’re wearing the bracelets. People would use the public beach access and then come into our pool area. These were groups of 15-20 people. They were smoking by the pool, bringing in food and leaving garbage and crumbs. This entire area is not overly nice. The building attracts clientele that is not overall appealing. Overall I would not recommend this space and we will not be back.
