The Cabin at Denali Stud

Treat yourself to an authentic Bluegrass experience by staying at the cabin on the world-famous Denali Stud horse farm. Located in Paris, KY, you are only about a 15 minute drive from the Kentucky Horse Park and about 25-30 minutes from downtown Lexington and Keeneland.
The space
The cabin at Denali Stud features a luxurious and cozy setting with open living space that includes a full kitchen, dining space and living room on custom wood floors, plus two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We hope you don't need to bring work with you, but in the event that you do we have an office and great wifi. If you're staying with us during cooler months, there is a wood-burning fireplace with wood provided.
Guest access
Guests will be able to access the full space of the cabin and will have their own private parking directly next to the cabin. A host will greet guests upon arrival and will give a brief overview about accessing the farm, as well as a quick tour of the cabin so that guests know where to find everything.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a working horse farm and you will not be permitted to interact with any of the horses unless you are with a host for your safety and for the horse's safety.
Other things to note
Farm tours are available upon request. Guests will learn about the history of the farm, famous horses that have been through our program, as well as experiencing a walk around the farm and interacting with horses.

This was our second stay. Its the most beautiful place you could imagine. Perfect location for area attractions. The most beautiful sunsets. Just horses as far as the eye can see. We have stayed at many places, nothing compares. Its perfect.

Beautiful views, this horse lover’s delight. I can’t thank Claire enough for helping me surprise my daughter. Though I finally had to tell my daughter before we arrived, there were still tears of joy This cabin was perfect for us. Before we stepped inside the view from the rocking chairs was breathtaking. I’m a horse lover so watching the mares and foals with a glass of red wine was so relaxing. Watching more horses from the deck with morning coffee was a great way to start the day. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We immediately felt relaxed and at home which is not easy for me to do. The views, the furnishings, the well stocked kitchen and luxury touches make this property one that I hope to return to over and over again. Absolutely 10/10.

Our stay at Denali Stud was beyond exceptional. The cabin and views were stunning. The beds were very comfortable and the home was well appointed with everything you could you ask for. Claire was a fantastic host and went out of her way to give us a thorough tour of the farm just after she arrived from out of town. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay at Denali. The cottage is very special and the view from the back porch is stunning especially early morning! The communication with Claire was excellent. We booked the tour of the farm which Claire also gave. We had the best time.

I can readily attest that you will not find a better VRBO - or luxury resort - experience better than the Cabin at Denali Stud. The fit, finish and condition of the property is flawless. Every little detail is addressed in the amenities. Clear, concise and timely communications with the host. All set within the most beautiful natural environment. An absolutely wonderful host and house in the most Kentucky setting you can find. It was great to return home and situated right in the middle of horse country. The host would stop at nothing to make sure we were happy.

Beautiful fireplace with chopped wood for your use. The ceiling is magnificent and updated throughout. Washer and dryer being in the basement could be a challenge if you are staying for more than a week. Beautiful scenery and so relaxing.

This property is absolutely beautiful! There are stunning views of the horses and the property to enjoy from every window. We enjoyed watching the horses with coffee at sunrise at the dining table on the back porch and with drinks at sunset in the rockers on the front porch! Very peaceful and relaxing! Claire was a very gracious host. The cabin was well furnished. We had an amazing week and would definitely like to return.

City slickers turn into horse lovers!

We met our dear friends to spend the weekend at the cabin at Denali Stud. It was a delightful cabin, just as the pictures show. It was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The communication with the owner was superb. The Mares and their fillies and colts were awesome ambassadors. The property was gorgeous. We look forward to returning soon. Thanks for a great time! 🐎❤️

Absolutely Spectacular

This cabin is everything and more! I can’t say enough good things about staying at Denali Stud. Clean, peaceful, relaxing. The horses are beautiful. Everything you need is provided for you. Claire went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I don’t think I have ever felt more at home away from home. Did I mention that the horses are beautiful? I would recommend this place 1000%. If you are hesitant, don’t be.

Just a little slice of heaven!

Is it even possible to turn down any road in Lexington/Paris, KY without seeing pure beauty? Fall is especially gorgeous! BUT, adding in the experience of staying on a working horse farm, in such a beautiful little cabin, absolutely tops the cake! Everything was just perfect, the communication from the host, the ease of check-in, even earlier, if we were in need of that, the comfort and homeliness of the cabin, I just can’t express what a wonderful escape it truly was. Thank you for opening your slice of heaven to others to enjoy!

Beautiful Horse Farm

This little slice of heaven is absolutely gorgeous. Everything about our stay was perfect. Claire was very easy to communicate with. What ever we needed. The cabin has everything you would need. Really if you forget anything at home. Odds are it’s in the cabin. Then there’s the scenery and the horses. If they made a movie about Kentucky horse country. It could be filmed here without changing a thing. We loved it and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Claire, Conrad and the crew at Denali Stud.

Denali Stud Farm - Thoroughbred Paradise

If you love the beauty of horses as they graze among fields and paddocks, then this is the place to make your dreams come true. The hosts of Denali Stud Farm are second to none. They supplied our cabin with all our needs which made us feel right at home. Every day we walked down scenic roads lined with beautiful foliage and mares with their colts or fillies. Lexington was only 20 minutes away, surrounded by many other horse farms. We stayed during the prelude to the Preakness, so there was excitement in the air. Of course, it was only 45 minutes away from Bourbon country for those eager to taste the nations finest libations. We honestly hated to leave. Clair, Conrad and Gary made our stay so extra special by allowing us to spend time with their new foals. We fed the mares peppermints from our back fence when they came to visit. Maybe one of those foals will be a triple crown winner just like Animal Kingdom. We will be treasuring these moments for the rest of our lives!
