Beautiful, well appointed house! Everything you need for a great stay in Cocodrie. From the commercial-sized ice maker to the Green Egg smoker, this property has it all. Iâve stayed at other properties in the area and this was hands down our favorite. Looking forward to our next visit.
This is our second times staying on this property! We have zero complaints (maybe get some better knives) but overall a perfect spot and accommodation for two families. Weâll be back!!
The location is close to both coco marina and a small boat launch, providing options, which is great. The house is was very clean with great amenities. We will definitely stay there again!
We had a wonderful stay and canât wait for another opportunity to return. Very clean property. Host responded promptly to our communications. Home is very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here 11/10!
The camp was clean and just as described. The camp manager was easy to contact and extremely helpful. Note that if you are planning a trip before August 2024 be aware that the bridge to Cocodrie is out.
This property is EXCELLENT!!! We wanted a nice fishing getaway and this was IT! The weather was beautiful the first day and we fished the night away. The rest of the time a cold front came through and we had to resort to the comfort of this beautiful home. Other than the frigid windy weather I wouldnât change a thing. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
I have stayed at several camps in Cocodrie and this is probably the best one I've stayed at. The owner was very easy to reach and made the trip that much more enjoyable. I brought a 24 ft boat and kept it at the slip the entire weekend which made it nice for fishing. I saw the water depth at the dock was an issue on some prior reviews but for my blue wave w/ 300 suzuki was just fine.
The camp beds are very comfortable and quiet. Awesome kitchen with everything you need to cook. Great cleaning station, ice chest, dock lights, power, sonos sound system, etc for your fishing equipment. Ice chest on site. Good parking with the ability to turn around my boat/trailer/vehicle without going on the main road. It was very convenient to get bait. Nice ramps close by. We also had great fishing during our visit. Our kids loved it. We hope to come back later in the summer.
We planned a fishing trip with family and friends for the Mardi Gras break. We were allowed to check in early, which was super nice. The camp was lovely and well stocked. The only thing we had to purchase more of was paper towels. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the speakers outside and use of the boiling setup. The ice machine was the main hit though. Super convenient. There are a few things I would point out for future guests. 1) There was a boat parked at the camp, so we could not park our boat under the cover, 2) there is a dumbwaiter, but you do not have access to it, 3) there is a boat lift, but it was locked so you cannot access, and most importantly, 4) the water is EXTREMELY shallow at the boat slips (less than a foot the entire time). I was super nervous with our bay boat. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
