You will love "The Creature Comforts House" managed by Southern Valley Homes. This adorable house feels like you're staying in a cabin in the woods with all the comforts of home featuring an oversized living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and supplied with everything you need for a great stay. We also gladly welcome up to 2 of your furry friends and have amenities like a privacy fenced in backyard for them to enjoy!

This private house has a fully furnished kitchen for all your cooking needs, a coffee station with complementary coffee, attached 2 car garage, great wifi and free washer and dryer use. There are 2 tv's to entertain your family- one in the living room and one in the master bedroom with Disney+, HULU and ROKU channels or log into your own accounts. Outside you will find a Privacy Fenced in Backyard, perfect for your dogs to play in. The driveway can accommodate up to a 20' trailer if you are coming for the Perry National Fairgrounds & Agriculture Center. A smart lock on the front door allows you to check-in at your convince after your check in time with ease.

Family wedding

We were in town for a family wedding and this was exactly what it family needed. The house is conveniently located, roomy and clean. The host did a wonderful job communicating with me from before I booked to the end of our stay!

Comfortable home, family and pet friendly.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. This is a very comfortable home with all the necessities for an extended stay. The backyard is fenced and perfect for our dogs to run about safely. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

Spacious dog-friendly home with fenced back yard.

This was a clean, spacious property. Fenced backyard with no holes in the fence! Dog-friendly. Double garage. Wifi and smart TV. Full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. Plenty of hot water. Perfect place to stay while we visited with family.

Convenient location to GA National Fairgrounds

We stayed here during the Spring Cluster with our two pups. The house was clean and had great amenities. Communication with the host was easy and quick. We’ll stay again when we’re in the area.

Nice location to town so multiple locations to choose from for eating dine in or out! This was easy drive to where we needed to go. Owner communication was great.

Great place

My friends and Icame for a women's conference. We only stayed one night, but it was a great place. We had plenty of room and able to meet together which would have been difficult if we had stayed in a hotel. Highly recommend for small group.

Pet friendly home

Very comfortable home in quiet neighborhood. The concern we had about the backyard fence safety for our dogs was promptly addressed. Like any pet friendly property you should examine the entire property closely before allowing your dog off leash.

Nice clean home!

Great stay! Came to the Georgia national livestock show and rodeo in Perry. My son shows goats and won showmanship. It was nice to have a nice clean home to stay in so he would be well rested. The host was great! We had some minor issues with the air and they were so prompt in helping us. Overall great stay very clean beds especially the queen was great!

Even with a VRBO glitch, owners were very understanding and gracious. House was clean and comfortable. Communication immediate. Our stay was brief so we didn’t utilize the special touches such as shampoo and coffee but I appreciate their availability. Love the clear directions for checkout posted by the door so I didn’t have to constantly check my app.

Home away from home

This house was so much better than staying in a hotel as we typically do in WR. The house was very clean, the fenced yard was great for the dog, laundry could be done while down for the business we had to do as well. It was nice to have some family come and visit after the funeral service too. Prompt communication from the owner, clean and convenient for all the area offers! Will definitely stay again! Only change would be a larger coffee pot. Thanks for sharing your home.

Very courteous and nice property in fantastic area

The host was extremely prompt in communicating with me. The area was very nice and quiet. The house was also very nice. It was exactly what we need to spend time with my wife’s elderly father that we hadn’t been able to see in several years.

Meet the owner Chris- He lives locally on several acres out in the country with his family. They have a mini-farm with chickens, goats, dogs and gardens. His wife Denise makes the best goats milk soap!!
Meet the property manager Cheryl- She also lives locally and is the owner of Southern Valley Homes. She manages several Short Term Rentals in the area and absolutely loves hosting. Her and her family live just a little south in Perry, GA where she loves watching her kids play sports and working in the garden. Cheryl also has chickens and ducks- this IS Georgia after all!! LOL
