The rooms were perfect and beds were comfortable. It had a full kitchen which is great when you donât want to go out to eat and want to stay in. The walk to AT&T stadium was very short.
While generally the listing was adequate for a place to sleep, there were some issues that were very concerning. I did not realize one of them until the last night, but made my concern for the others greater. There were two outlet covers that were severely damaged and the front door was very challenging to get open, these didn't bother me as much until I noticed that none of the smoke detectors were powered on. The broken covers are a fire hazard, then no smoke alarms to warn you of danger and adore that is hard to be able to escape from as a fire victim was unsettling. The stove / oven also cooked very inconsistently. In the bedrooms there were small lights on the nightstands, one had a cord but no USB port to plug it into and the other did not even have a cord. I had to use an external battery I brought with me on my trip to power the light in the room or I would have had just the ceiling fan lights that were very bright.
Foe no more than what we needed it for everything was great, it could use some dressers in the bedrooms and the faucet in the tub fixed and maybe a cookie sheet or two but it was great.
The neighborhood was not what we were expecting but the property itself was nice. Definitely old and trying to remodel. Shower was nearly broken. Beds were very comfortable.
Overall things were adequate. But if you're going to list it as sleeping 6, you may want to add additional bedding to accommodate for that. We couldn't find extra bedding for the couch.
We were visiting family in Fort Worth and this little place was an economical place to stay! Positives:Two good sized bedrooms.Full size washer and dryer. The couch was suitable for four people who know each other.Nice size kitchen stocked with a few supplies. Small pub table with four chairs. Lots of interesting places to thrift shop and eat nearby. The floors seem new and clean.Bathroom is clean and stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Negatives:A homeless person was going through the trash when we arrived. There is a complete slat missing from the blinds in the 2nd bedroom, and considering the homeless person out front, it felt like the perfect spot for a peeping Tom to stand outside and creep on guests. This was truly disturbing. Bring your own blanket or sheet to cover this!! This place seems rehabbed as a VRBO, but needs more polishing to be nice. The walls seem freshly painted and the kitchen counters and cabinets seem recently painted, but all the doors stuck hard and were strangely very dirty. The light switches were all noticeably dirty too. The 2nd bedroom (or hall) needs a mirror, because if someone is using the bathroom you canât do your hair or makeup, or check your outfit. Sidenote: There is a Keurig in the kitchen with some coffee provided, but there is no sweetener and the coffee was strangely terrible. Bring your own coffee and sweetener, or go to one of the many places nearby.Budget friendly. Would actually stay again!
The place looks just like the pictures. Was super clean. Parking right outside of the duplex. The beds were comfortable. From what I saw it had everything in the kitchen and had washer/dryer area in the hallway. I didnât need to use any of the kitchen stuff or washer/dryer, but I was glad it had them just in case. Super easy check in and out. Was emailed the day of with instructions and messaged through the vrbo app for check in. When we checked out, it was super easy and just let them know when we left. The whole experience for me was great. It was just right. I will definitely book here again in the future. Thank you!!
I donât leave reviews often but this was worthy of one. We arrive and the place smelled like fish. Turns out the previous tenant mustâve cooked something and just left it in the garbage disposal. It smelled horrible. The cleaning staff did not clean the kitchen/all the dishes before our arrival. In addition, upon leaving, I noticed there was a spider web inside the washing machine. Leading me to wonder if the linens/towels were cleaned? When I confronted the host about the smell, they did come by and drop off some Febreeze in a timely fashion, which I did appreciate. However, there was not any cleaning supplies or dish soap to clean dishes. And donât expect to cook much, there is only two tiny pans and one tiny pot. Itâs a fine house if you just need a place to sleep, nothing more.
We picked this place for a Cowboys game. The house was nice & clean. A little loud with traffic from the street but we were able to sleep thru the night. The walk to the stadium was easy. Just keep in mind that if your game ends after sundown, youll be walking back in the dark since most of the walk has nostreet lights. strrestreet lights. B
My wife and I have lived in Arlington for 5 years now. We both work in professional jobs, locally as well as hosting folks on VRBO and airbnb. In our free time we enjoy competing in marathons and spending time with family and friends.
We are centrally located near several major highways, six flags, globe life, AT&T stadium. We enjoyed living in a nearby property and being able to walk to events at the stadium, and felt like it was a good location to host other folks
