Quiet and Lovely

We slept very well here. Very peaceful spot with lots of walking options. Love the Bluffton area, and our hostess made us love it more!

Easter Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay there and our host couldn’t have been nicer by making us feel like old friends. Invited us to their pool with our family and also let us their golf cart to get around town. Will definitely go back, comfortable beds and very clean.

Tranquil oasis

Everything is clean, neat, and beautifully decorated! The pool area and grounds were gorgeous and fun to explore.It rained practically the entire time we were there but we still had a great time! We met the hosts, Brenda and Terry briefly and they were very nice and happy to help in any way.

Mermaid haven retreat

I could not have imagined a more wonderful place for my brother and I to stay while our mom was in hospice. This place was a true retreat. Brenda and Terry are absolutely wonderful, so nice, helpful, and made us feel welcome and fully at home. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable and has an amazing porch. Thank you Brenda, you were so helpful.

Amazing Mermaid

We had a wonderful visit to Bluffton at this beautiful property. Brenda, our host, is amazing and showed us true Southern Hospitality! Everything about our trip was perfect and we gained a new friendship. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Old Town. Thank you Brenda!

Awesome location, wonderful host, and overall just a great vacation. You can not beat the location. Walking distance to Olde Town Bluffton. Home away from home

Brenda and Terry make you feel at home. We will definitely be returning. The home is beautiful, the pool was heavenly, and the hosts were absolutely amazing. Ringo the cat was even friendly. I can't wait to go back.

We <3 Southern Charm

We loved this property and the location to town! I enjoy walking everywhere and Bluffton offered that. Brenda was an amazinggg host and showed a northerner (me) what true southern charm is. The place was clean and super nice for me and my brother and cousin. I highly recommend this for your next stay in Bluffton!

Charming property!! conveniently located w/in walking distance of town. We've traveled a lot and Brenda is by far, the most accommodating and friendly HOST we've ever had! Everything about our stay was delightful! Loved the cottage: clean, cozy, whimsical! Highly recommend! We'll be back.

Loved it

Sign of the Mermaid is charming. It's really nicer than the description. TVs in every room, comfy recliner, use of an outdoor porch. In addition the gardens and trees are spectacular, lit up at night. In a quiet location, but easy to walk to restaurants in town. Lovely hosts. We had a short stay, but hope to be back.

Feels brand new. Spacious. Everything you need. Brenda is the sweetest, most caring host you will find. She wants you to have as good a time as you do. Great location, quiet but close to center of town.

Amazing Weekend

We had an amazing time with Brenda and Terry. We were able to get to know them and spend time with them. We left relaxed and refreshed but even better, we gained new friends. The accomodations were amazing. A beautiful property with a beautiful pool. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you so much!!!!!
