The Bluffton Farmhouse

Welcome, this is a farmhouse. Country living nextdoor to downtown Bluffton in this quaint, private, and wonderfully appointed upstairs barn apartment. Meander down the dirt road to this serene 15 acres farm. Sit and relax with coffee or a cocktail on the wide porch overlooking green pastures and enjoy the May river breeze. Bike or walk to town for shopping, AllJoy donuts or Squat and Gobble's famous breakfast. Small horse farm with several horses, a miniature donkey, dwarf miniature horse, potbelly pig and chickens and a rooster. Upstairs living space, must be able to climb stairs. We feed our animals (downstairs) daily around 730 am and 5 pm :)

Bikes available upon request through PEDALS HH 888-699-1039 if you would rather bike to town for lunch, dinner, or drinks.


Pets may be accepted (with 50.00 fee) but please inquire prior to booking.

Wonderful retreat in the heart of town

The Host was wonderful and extremely courteous. The house if beautiful and brings the southern charm for the area right to you. Everything is close and within 10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again. Be respectful that it is an active farm, it adds to the charm but be respectful of that amd you'll have zero issues.

Farm visit

We loved being at the farm. We loved the donkey and the miniature horse, they were so friendly. The horses were beautiful. We enjoyed fresh chicken eggs.

Tucked away walking distance to downtown Bluffton is this glorious farm. The apartment over the barn was spotless and the view from the veranda magnificent. My 10 year old ran and played with the animals for hours. Truly a wonderful experience. We will absolutely return

Idyllic Retreat

What a wonderful place to experience "Old" Town Bluffton. Spacious, well appointed and cozy, we had all the privacy and comfort we could wish for. The animals are the cherry on the top - very cute! Easy walk to the gorgeous downtown - we even walked all the way to the "burnt church" distillery (worth a visit!). Loved our weekend - thank you so much!

Love the Farm!

Our stay at the farm was fantastic! We felt like we had the best of two worlds…charming farm atmosphere and the river two minutes away. Our host was great.! It was an easy check in and the accommodations were well decorated and very clean. I had my dogs with me and they loved the other animals at the farm. I will re-book again!

A peaceful place

This was our second trip to Bluffton and each year we stay here. Quiet, peaceful, well maintained and a short walk to old town Bluffton. Our family loves visiting with all of the animals. I would highly recommend the Bluffton Farmhouse.

Peace & Quiet Just Blocks from Oldtown Bluffton

We loved our stay at the farmhouse. What a charming and peaceful setting! So much fun walking the grounds amongst the roosters, chickens and other farm animals. The hosts were great to work with as well. We would recommend this venue to everyone!

Amazing!

The property and the hosts are unbelievable. What an experience to leave Savannah and land on this 15-acre property with animals below your feet. I will share my own photos soon, but this is the best of the best!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. My kids loved the animals and the property. It was quiet, well kept, decorated amazingly. The owners were super nice and personable. It was close to restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again!

Wedding weekend

Beautiful property at a very convenient location. Host was great and even left us a half dozen fresh eggs during our stay. We had to find a location that was welcoming to our two dogs while we attended a friends wedding and this worked out perfectly. Would happily book another stay in the future

Peaceful retreat just outside of Old Town Bluffton

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluffton Farmhouse. It was the perfect size for my wife and me. The property was well equipped and we loved sitting on the porch and watching the animals. Old Town is just a short 20 minute walk away. Yes the animals make some noise, but overall it is very quiet and peaceful.

Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable

My husband and I and our dog stayed at the Bluffton Farmhouse for the month of February 2024. The two bedroom apartment above the barn is very comfortable and welcoming. Two couches and easy chairs in the living space, a spacious dining table, and rocking chairs and a chaise out on the veranda. One of the best appointed rentals we've stayed in. You are walking distance to historic Bluffton, just off the main road, but you get back to the barn and the setting is peaceful, beautiful, and quiet (ok, you occasionally hear the donkey but for us it added to the ambiance). The kitchen is well-equipped, not just a sparse collection of old pots and pans, but good quality and a number of sizes and shapes. They even have measuring cups and spoons (we've found few rentals do)! If you are concerned about being above a barn, don't be. You do not smell the animals. Sometimes you hear them, but not often and it is not disruptive. We had a great month at the Bluffton farmhouse and highly recommend it.

Peaceful Farmhouse living!

We really enjoyed our two week visit at the Farmhouse!!the Farmhouse sits over a beautiful barn with horses, an adorable donkey, a miniature horse and a pig named Jenny Craig! There is a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and an open plan living room with French doors opening onto a porch where you can look out over two beautiful pastures. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!
