- Your reservation includes $300 worth of beach and adventure gear rental! You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Great property

There were only 2 negatives. Everything else about the property was amazing. Tons of room, very beautiful, very close to the water. Only bad things are all the beds are rock hard. And the only have us one extra trash bag.. not enough lol

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a perfect setup for having kids and multiple adults. It was an easy walk to the pool and beach. Kids loved riding their bikes around the community. There were a lot different of beach toys and floats for us to use which was nice. The gas grill ran out of propane after one use so that was disappointing but we made due.

Easy access to everything!

It was a welcome surprise to see the owners have a beach wagon, sand toys and floaties for their guests! They also have a cornholw setup! Easy access to the beach, pool, restaurants. Management was super friendly and responsive. Cleaners were amazing as well. Only thing that could be improved is check in time. It’s at 5pm whereas our friends were able to have much earlier check in time with different rental property.

There were a couple problems with the AC unit and internet but they were rectified by Baytowne. Overall a great property close to the beach.

Second Wind

The house was beautiful as was the community. We loved the small town atmosphere. However, we were very disappointed with Baytowne Vacation Rentals check in procedures and their customer service. We were given the code to enter the property and when we entered, the cleaning people were still there and stated they wouldn’t be done for another 45 minutes. We had timed our grocery trip with stated check in time. Because we had been given the code, we assumed we were good to go as this is what I was told. Unfortunately we had to work around the cleaning people to be able to put our cold items in fridge. We were almost an hour late getting full access of the home. When I talked with Baytowne about this issue, I was told they would talk to upper management and get back with me. The gentleman that later contacted me was very unprofessional and downright nasty. I understand that we have just gone through a pandemic and that issues arise because of this but his overall demeanor was unacceptable. He was very argumentative, very accusatory and wanted to place blame-but offered very little in way of apology. I would not recommend renting from Baytowne if our experience was any indication of their customer service that is displayed from management.

Great family vacation rental!

We loved our stay at Second Wind! We had a total of 13 people. 8 adults and 5 kids! Very family friendly, and just a short walk to the beach and pool. Loved the screened in porches. Not a single complaint!!

Wonderful Family Holiday Stay

House was very good for a large family
