Grand Lake Waterfront

Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees waterfront paradise. Located on Drowning Creek, just 5 miles east of Disney enjoy all the amenities we have to offer. Boat dock to tie up, swim deck, water slide, high dive, kayaks, paddle boards and fish cleaning station.
This property has a gentle slope to water, outdoor shower, fire pit and patio to enjoy the amazing views! This is a brand new build.
Enjoy all of the 46,500 acres of water or rock climbing and trail riding below the dam. If there is a weekend or weekday that you are interested in that is not available please contact us.

My husband and I came to relax and get away. Very calm and quiet. Several state parks and areas nearby to fish and hike. Dock was great for fishing and swimming! Even with the weather i was able to kayak.

We had a wonderful time at the property and it was perfect for our getaway with friends. We loved all the extras with the water activities. The walkway to dock was short and easy. Property was new and clean. TVs and internet were easy to use and worked great! Todd communicated quickly any time we had a question.

Great Get-away!

This property is absolutely wonderful with so many great amenities! The attention to guest details is amazing. We came for a short, quiet, "reset" get-away for a couple of days in January. (Nice drive from OKC, easy access to house and dock, great view, etc.) We hope to return for some warmer days and kayaks! Thank you Todd for hosting!"

Family Time

I searched long and hard for a lake house that would be a good fit for our family and ran across this one and fell I love with it. I was sad it was already booked for most of the summer so I reached out to the owner and asked if he had any cancellations to please reach out. He was very prompt in responding and said he’d let me know if something came up. A few weeks later he said a Sunday and Monday night became available. I had everyone drop everything and my husband take off work. I have 3 teenagers and life is always taking us in different directions. We really needed time away for some quality family time. This was the perfect getaway. We had an amazing time! The kids loved it! The house offered everything we could want and more. The owner is great with communication and I hope to return again in the future.

Not very clean

I don't like to give negative reviews, but I feel like I need to be honest about this property. Long story short, it was not cleaned before we arrived. There was obvious crumbs/dirt/hair on the concrete floors when we walked in. The bathroom floors had a significant amount of hair on them. We wore our shoes in the house. The bedroom carpets are more hair, food crumbs, etc. It just obviously hadn't been vacuumed. When we went to take showers the first night, the towels had been put away wet. We weren't sure if they had been washed, and used our beach towels. And the most disappointing, was hair in the beds. That was really just gross. I let the owner know after our visit, and he was assured me they haven't had this issue before, but some items around the house were so dusty it was apparent it wasn't cleaned regularly. The driveway down to this house it also incredibly steep, so my sure you have good brakes and transmission to get in and out. On a positive note, my kids really enjoyed swimming off the dock. But we wouldn't ever go back.

Relaxing family getaway

The lake house was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lake. Clean and up to date furnishings and appliances make it comfortable and convenient. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. There is a little bit of a drive to town but once you get there you don’t want to leave. Can’t wait to go back again!

Our stay on grand Lake was so relaxing and needed. We loved the kayaks and the access to the dock. Even though I didn’t catch any fish this time. I’ll definitely be back. The area was peaceful, and the owners are so kind.

Stellar retreat (emphasis on treat!)

My four adult children and I enjoyed a multi-day stay at this charming home. We greatly appreciated the feeling of privacy. The host was readily available via message for questions but otherwise left us to enjoy the multiple amenities of the well-stocked home. We had plenty of room throughout. We particularly enjoyed the surrounding scenery, the dock with swing and access to the water. The water supplies such as a paddleboard and lifejackets were much appreciated. We used the fire pit three of the four nights. The patio outside the house was comfy and roomy. The proximity to hiking trails and eateries and convenience stores was helpful. We all agreed that we would love to come back. Thank you for a great stay.
