Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located by the International airport and 5 minutes away of down town. the place has everything that you need coffee, snack, personal care( sop, shampoo, lotion, etc.) utensil for cooking and eating.
We enjoyed our stay here - comfortable beds and couch. As noted by others, some maintenance was needed, but it didn't get in our way. It was a great place for a few nights while exploring the area - we'd stay there again!
This was a nice stay for an affordable price. There were a few minor issues; one closet door was broken, a couple windows didn't have screens, and outside could use some maintenance. Overall my family of 5 was very comfortable, the neighborhood was safe, and we were close to everything we wanted to do in Anchorage.
My family and I stayed 5 nights there and were pretty happy with our stay. Thereâs only 2 minor things I would change, I would add a few more fans to the house because it does get warm in there and I would also add some outside seating.
Itâs just an ok place to stay-it was pretty clean, and having 3 bedrooms was nice. However one of the beds sloped, and as several others have mentioned in the past, the house is missing some details like towel racks/hooks, toilet paper holder, etc. The neighborhood is pretty run-down but we felt safe enough. The house was really warm when we got there, mainly because the dryer was running. When I asked the owner about it he said to open some windows. Which would have been fine but most of the windows didnât have screens on them. I also had to reach out to the owner several times the day we were arriving to get the code for the door. Communication was not great.
What we liked about this rental was that it was close to the airport and many other activities and places to eat at in Anchorage. The rental was fairly clean and the property manager responded quickly to my messages.
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
Priced right
Neighborhood was not the best nor was outside appearance but inside was updated/clean for the most part. We wanted a place close to airport so worked fine for us as we did not spend much time except to sleep. Very reasonable price.
Everything was great - beds were wonderful and coffee, shampoo, etc, was supplied. Extra towels and blanket.. Fans were provided for air circulation House was clean. We stayed in June - when mosquitos were not an issue. We had windows open both nights and no bugs - but if a different time of year, this might be an issue as 2 rooms either had no screen or broken screens - Location was great - 15 min to downtown Anchorage by txi or uber. Perfectly situated. Host was congenial and easy to contact on the app. Would stay again if in Anchorage.
Property was good value for money with ample parking and easy access to major roads. Property pretty much as advertised, which is good. Only problem was that the keypad lock was quirky. Landlord guided us thru a kind of funky fix to make it work, but it's a known fault. Overall, 7/10
The location is near enough the airport for a $15 cab ride. While the neighborhood doesn't look like much, the interior of the home is new and clean. It is small, like a 3 bedroom apartment, but works for a place to sleep. Didn't get any check-in instructions from the owner despite messaging him twice in advance, but at least he had his phone number listed and answered when I called for the lock code upon arrival.
No hot tub. The unit is in need of lots of small repairs (ice maker, bathtub faucet, blinds, door jams, missing bedding)
Pictures of property were deceiving, damaged outbuildings with lots of debris.
Living room and beds were comfortable.
A little run down. Lots of items needing some repair, shower head and faucet lose, table chairs are wobbly and the bathroom has no tp holderâŠ. it was ok for the price and for a 1-2 night stay. No hot tub as stated in posting, which was disappointing. Nice people and neighbors so all and all it was ok.
Host communicated well, but initiates through the VRBO app so best to have that. This unit was good at the price point, convenient to the airport. It was clean, but portions of the unit looked hastily done and not well finished. Externally is not wonderful. There is no hot tub, there is a tub, it is not a spa/jetted nor multi person (a normal bathroom tub in the bathroom). There was no grill and not much in the way of cooking condiments like oil, spices, etc. That may improve as the season moves along. Also no shampoo and soap during our stay. This is still a great value at the price and would still recommend as long as you are not expecting a fully polished location. We found getting into town quite easy and not far from grocery or things to see/do.
It was good. Neighborhood a little run down. Safe though. Downstairs tenant plays war video games til 2-3 am, you can hear it and you canât sleep. Shower handle and spigot needs to be tighten and secure. There are no mosquito screens on the bedroom windows so you canât open the windows. It needs to have fans that are stable. One standing fan is not secure on the base. The other fan is a box fan, toooo loud. The other bedroom does not have a fan. Not able to open windows makes the apartment really hit and stuffy. Loved the huge tV. Beds, one of them not that comfortable.
Itâs a good place for the price.
The inside of the property was clean and tidy. There were cooking supplies and state of the art washer and dryer. The place tended to get humid, however, opening the windows provided cooling relief. Our biggest concern was the neighborhood. It was loud, dirty, and there was garbage and broken down vehicles around the property. There were no glasses in the place, only coffee mugs, and the kitchen towels and washcloths were not readily accessible. The stools at the dining room table were all unstable, therefore, unusable, especially for adults, so we ended up eating at the couch. The bathroom faucet also felt like it was going to come off.
