No hot water, dirty, and poor customer service
Do not book. Positives: reasonable price and good access to downtown. Negatives: * No hot water. The pilot light was out and the hot water heater was nonfunctional, suggesting the property had not been checked on in awhile.* Haphazardly cleaned, at best. Visibly dirty floors (dust/dirt), hairs/bugs in the shower, nasty stove, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher.* Rugs, chairs, etc. that appear in the photos that did not actually exist in the unit.* Does not fit 12 guests. One king bed, three queens, and a small futon. Only 6 cups and 8 towels.* No proactive communication about issues- only vague updates when we asked. Lied and claimed they were installing a new water heater ‘right now’, but didn’t come back until the next day.* Left the unit unlocked after they came to check on the heater. Completely unsafe/unacceptable.* Gas was left on despite the pilot light being out. Either the owner does not understand the risk of a gas leak or they were too negligent to check on the property between tenants and turn it off.The owner gave us a 20% refund for the first two nights we spent in the unit and nothing- not even an acknowledgement or apology- for any of the other concerns. Charged full price for the final two nights of the reservation after we had left given the abundance of concerns. Strongly advise finding somewhere else to stay where the ownership group demonstrates even a mild amount of concern for tenants.
