Nestled in the pines of Broken Bow, with modern Scandinavian architecture and decor collected from all over the world, The Denizen is the perfect place for design enthusiasts and for those who simply want to stay somewhere beautiful.

LOCATION – The Denizen is situated in the ideal location to enjoy the best of Broken Bow. Discover the best hiking trails and stunning lake views at Beaver Bend State Park, less than a 10min drive away. Find top rated restaurants, coffee shops, and local food markets less than a 5min drive away.
DESIGN – With a striking black exterior and a myriad of windows, The Denizen is an architectural beauty that visually stands on its own. Yet the splendor of the surrounding landscape can be appreciated from every angle, through windows wrapping the entire cabin – bringing the feel of the “inside in” to a whole new level.
The space is thoughtfully designed and carefully curated, bringing together a global design aesthetic inspired by the collected visions of our journeys.
Handmade pottery from Mexico, art from Copenhagen, rugs from Morocco, and antiques collected from markets in Rome and Paris, bring depth and soul to the objects found.
Rich textures, natural materials, and earthy tones are visible throughout, for a space that feels organic, relaxed, and deeply familiar.

WIFI – Wifi is provided during your stay.
THE KITCHEN – When you first enter The Denizen, your eyes will first swoon at the kitchen space. A floating shelf is stacked with ceramic and wooden plates + bowls, vintage glassware, healthy cookbooks, and beautiful antique objects collected from around the world.
In the kitchen, you will prepare beautiful, artisanal meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We provide a large variety of organic herbs and spices, organic cold-pressed olive oil, and Acid League Living Balsamic, to elevate the flavor profile of any dish.
You'll also find a Crock Pot, Ninja blender, and waffle maker, along with copper pots and pans.
COFFEE & TEA BAR – Start your day with a perfect cup of fresh brewed coffee - just how you like it. Keep it simple with the beautifully designed SMEG Drip Coffee Maker, french press, or use the Bialetti Italian Moka Pot for a more robust brew. Italian coffee grounds from Illy are provided, along with a variety of sweeteners. If you prefer tea, we offer a variety of organic herbal teas from Pukka.
THE LOUNGE SPACE – Wingback sherpa chairs and a low slung modular sofa, create a grounded and cozy space, perfect for sharing conversations or watching a movie. If you love design, you will find stacks of interior design and architecture books, and Dwell magazines, available for you to read. There are also a variety of games, puzzles, and meditation cards – both lighthearted and some more introspective.
There is a 50” Roku Smart TV that will allow you to log in to your favorite streaming channels, along with a heyday bluetooth speaker to play music, and really set the ambiance you desire.
THE MASTER SUITE – The master suite exudes luxury and comfort, with cotton sheets, linen bedding, Turkish velvet pillows, and the softest rug you’ve ever felt, imported from Marrakech. With a Helix Mattress, that’s not too hard and not too soft, you will get a good night’s sleep during your stay.
THE MASTER BATH – The master bath features a walk-in dual shower, along with a large soaking tub for total relaxation. Lavender bath salts are provided, along with all-natural shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion from Public Goods.
For the ladies, you’ll be glad to find the following provided: make-up remover, feminine products, hair dryer, steamer, iron, and a full length mirror. Look and feel your best, even while being in the great outdoors.
OUTDOOR SPACE – Relax on the back deck with expansive forest views, and catch a lovely view of the stars when you gaze to the sky. Soak in the hot tub after a day of exploring, grill a meal to perfection, relax on the L-shaped sofa, have an outdoor movie night, play a round or two of corn hole, and roast some gooey s'mores by the fire pit. Create endless memories during your time in nature.
You will have access to the entire property, except for the owner’s closet.
Early check-in and extended check-out times may be possible, if we do not have other guests checking in or out within 24 of your arrival or departure.
You will receive a keycode prior to your arrival. The keycode is changed after every guest for safety and security.
We kindly ask that you respect our home and property.
House Rules:
- No parties. Please keep a low key vibe.
- No pets. We love them, but there are no exceptions.
- No smoking or vaping.
- No shoes inside the cabin. Please remove at entry and place under the bench.
- Do not rearrange furniture or decor.
- Do not place any gold flatware or dishes in the dishwasher.
If any of these rules are broken, you will be asked to leave the property.
CANCELLATION POLICY:Strict: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
