"Little Italy's Landmark of Luxury" - The Washington Post

This nearly 10,000 sf mansion is located at the heart of Baltimore’s Little Italy (“Piccola Italia”). This is a historic and vibrant community offering cultural festivals throughout the year, a picturesque street scape and authentic bakeries and restaurants featuring multi-region Italian cuisines. Guests thoroughly enjoy the spacious retreat-like Palazzo style mansion featuring a spa, indoor pool, a yoga studio, a spacious garage, magnificent outdoor spaces and three pampering suites.

Unlike most short-term rentals, the mansion allows guests to enjoy a retreat style experience with family and friends. Guests enjoy listening to music throughout, swim or lounge at the pool, enjoy an espresso at the Loggia, a drink at the bar, or cook a lavish meal in the outdoor kitchen, outlooking Little Italy. The Villa is newly renovated and equipped with lavish furnishings selected by Poppy Production Design of Baltimore, a local interior designer. The house is well lit with thirteen sky lights.

The mansion is fashioned after an Italian Villa with painted ceilings, marble hallways, Romanesque columns, an indoor pool and a large loggia (covered porch with arches). The property built in 1991, has been on the Little Italy tours, and was featured in two TV series. The Washington Post called this property “Little Italy’s Landmark of Luxury” and the Baltimore Sun dubbed it “the Row Palace.” Most recently the house has been featured by the Baltimore Banner among best short-term rental gems in Baltimore.

The Villa is located steps from Baltimore's most sought after neighborhood, Harbor East, featuring boutique shops, fine dining and a vibrant nightlife.

Among available establishments are Whole Foods market, the Baltimore Aquarium, the Flag House, Johns Hopkins, sports arenas and the Convention center. The combination of location and space, make this an unbeatable choice!

Little Italy House

Our stay was nothing less than amazing, Ilana was so accommodating for our stay! I would highly recommend this luxurious house if you’re looking for a little getaway in Baltimore. I couldn’t have asked for a better host and a more beautiful price of property to have all of my wedding party and family get ready in. Thank you for making my day a memorable one and I will definitely stay here again!

Loved the location- did NOT like the host.

The location and space was AMAZING- however was completely over shadowed by the host who emailed me completely inappropriate questions regarding my itinerary for the weekend, the NAMES of my guest and then also asked to send pictures to show that they are ‘inclusive.’ Now I’m not sure if that is cause I am black, my partner and I are gay, or that we are in an interracial relationship- but I don’t think we should be asked to be put on display for that reason. She also went on the internet and looked up information about myself and my wife. There were 7 women at the house between the ages of 38 and 55- to feel like we were doing something ‘wrong’ because of all the outside emails prior to our stay, was just not a good feeling at all.

A Christmas in Tuscany - but in Little Italy, Baltimore!

This jewel of a "Palazzo" in the middle of Little Italy is just outstanding. From the moment you open the door, it's just a "Wow". Perfect for our adult children - they made excellent use of the indoor pool and beautiful facilities. As they went from room to room, they just kept saying, "OMG!" The bedrooms are all wonderful with en suite baths. Every room is outstanding. We just wish the weather was warmer so that we could have taken advantage of the Loggia. What a terrific outdoor space. We may as well have been in Tuscany. Our family had a Christmas holiday they will talk about for a long time. Our thanks to Ilana for all of her help and her friendly welcome. She was responsive to every inquiry we had. A super host indeed!

Exceptional Home

So much love and care put into this beautiful space in Little Italy. Homey yet elegant. Pool is something else! Perfect place for any occasion really. We used it as a home base for work but easily a place to host elegant meals and family gatherings. A truly exceptional place. We will return next year.

We are both healthcare professionals who love urban living and have made Baltimore City our home since 2004. We love all things Italian, and have traveled to Italy on multiple occasions marveling in its medieval towns, architecture, art, scenery, wine and food. We took great care to make sure our guests enjoy the best that hospitality has to offer with an Italian flare.

We bought the Villa to prevent it's demolition and the erection of a high rise with multiple units at the heart of our beloved historic neighborhood steps from St. Leo's Church. This was a community preservation project and a labor of love.

This property is extra ordinarily spacious for a city dwelling, the house is prefect for entertaining and comfortably accommodating families or friends wanting to spend leisure time together. The location is ideal - being in the heart of historic Little Italy, and within walking distance from Baltimore's best restaurants and tourist attractions. This grandeur space has been featured in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun and the Baltimore Banner. It has also been used in two TV series.
