Affordable Fancy Trailer

Located on the scenic shores of Smith's Bay near Morrison Point in Prince Edward County - 5 acre wooded lot overlooking the beautiful Waupoos (the name "Waupoos" is taken from the Ojibwe word waabooz "rabbit"). Waupoos is known as the center for the cider and wine industry. We're 20 mins from Sandbanks Provincial Park, Picton and Bloomfield. Perfect location to get grounded - away from the stress of city life! Throw in some fishing and you're good to go!

This Fancy RV Trailer is an affordable home-base for the single person or couple who would like to explore the County and all its offering on a budget.

Perfectly spotted with a lake view - simple and clean. You'll have our own private deck, gas barbeque and fire pit .

Accessibility to the lake is steps away - off the dock, you're able to swim in the beautiful crystal clear water. Or, enjoy a swim in the pool to cool down on those hot summer days. We do have water crafts (2 paddle boards, a couple kayaks, a canoe, 2 paddle boats and a couple row boats) all available for your use on a first come first serve basis - shared with the other cottagers.

Kitchen is well equipped except for your cooking items(oil, salt, pepper etc). You must bring your own drinking water. You can use the water for cooking once it's boiled - this is just a precaution for your safety.

Hot & cold running water in your 3pc bathroom

Linen and Towels are provided with the basic amenities.

This is our second summer here and it was just as pleasant as last time. Very clean and well-maintained modern RV. Friendly and attentive hosts. The property is well-kept and beautifully situated. Family friendly site but good for couples too.

Great stay! The trailer was an excellent base for exploring Prince Edward County - from beaches and wineries to some really tasty meals. It was even better equipped than we expected, and we especially appreciated how clean everything was. The AC was also a lifesaver during the humid temperatures!Bob and Paula were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. One small note for taller guests: the bed is nice and wide, but a little short if you're on the taller side.We'd happily stay again!

A lovely Prince Edward County Getaway!We recently completed a 3-night stay at the Vagabond Cove Cottages in Prince Edward County. While we had never stayed in a trailer before, this experience met our expectations.The trailer itself was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. It was equipped with many practical amenities. An outdoor sitting area (with hammock) alongside the cottage is a perfect spot to relax. Its location near a quiet bay offered access to the water. The exceptionally serene and spacious spot provided a quietness rare in today's bustling world..Thank you to the hosts, Bob and Paula for their warm hospitality.

The AFT trailer was amazing . In such a great location to enjoy the county and still feel like you are in the wilderness. Robert and Paula are so sweet and accommodating , would highly recommend a stay at any of their properties. Thanks for the great week Robert and Paula!

Trying something new

We were curious about RV’s so this was a good opportunity to give one a try. The location was better than expected (thought RV park) and had lots of waterfront amenities. Hosts are great!

Beautifully appointed trailer

Trailer was spotless and very comfortable. It had all amenities you could ask for…even an outdoor fridge and sink to use while sitting on the deck. Owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great waterfront property. Enjoyed a lovely paddle along the shoreline.

Great quiet getaway

Perfect spot to enjoy some “me” time. Host greeted me at arrival and made sure I had everything I needed. Available if I needed anything at all during my stay but respected my space. Perfect! Thanks Bob & Paula!

Worth every penny !

We had a fantastic week, we stayed in the RV. It was spotless and Bob is super welcoming ! Great privacy since it sits back a little but still view of the lake. The pool is everything and more. I feel it’s a great value for your money and will definitely recommend :) Leo and Petra

We had a great stay in the trailer. Bob and Paula are wonderful hosts. The amenities were perfect for a teen who enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming in the pool, and roasting marshmallows at night. We really appreciated that the trailer had AC since it was 30 degrees during our stay. It was quiet and very peaceful. Say lots of wildlife and enjoyed the short trips to Picton and Sandbanks during the day. We will certainly come again in the future.

Beautiful Spot

The grounds were very well kept and it was beautiful and peaceful there. Lots of trees, well manicured lawn, a lovely view of the Lake Ontario. Our host was thorough, polite, and easy to get along with. He also responded quickly to any problems. My only negative feedback is that the pool had too many dead, and half dead, bugs floating on the water (including bees) to be able to swim or really enjoy the pool. But this can be solved. Overall, a wonderful place and I enjoyed the clean, comfortable trailer , the fireplace, the barbecue, and of course, the setting, very much. It was lovely. any problems. Isecuththere.

The trailer was much more spacious than expected. Lots of sitting area both inside and out. It’s off on the property behind the cabins, so you feel like you have quite a bit of privacy. The location is also about a 20 min drive from surrounding attractions (downtown Picton, wineries, etc.). The hosts are very kind, helpful, and respect your privacy as well. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to others or to stay there again!
