Thelma's Place is a cozy, three bedroom house, newly remodeled

Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. The home is situated on an acre lot with a stream running through the far end of the back lawn. It’s a perfect place to sit in the shade and relax by the babbling brook, or let your little ones enjoy splashing in the refreshing cool water. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs, are other nearby attractions.

We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

Everything was perfect. Loved the little "extras" - so thoughtful. Appreciated the owner's prompt responses to my questions. Location was perfect for our family's 90th birthday party for my dad at Mammoth Park. We were able to walk over! Thank you, Chet & Cindy. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

We enjoyed the “homey” feel of the place, the open living space, the comfortable beds, the well stocked kitchen
 pretty much everything about it. It was just as advertised
 a beautiful home, on a really pretty property, and surprisingly quiet, considering the fairly busy road it’s on. Just what we’d been hoping for.Kudos to our hosts.I’ll remember Thelma’s Place if we’re in the area again.

Chet and Cindy were very accommodating with our check-in time. Thelma's Place is so cozy and clean. I wasn't worried that my grandbabies would be crawling all over the floors. Each bedroom was comfortable and decorated nicely. My family greatly enjoyed this sweet house.

Gorgeous remodel of a country home in a rural setting. Well decorated, modern appliances. Owners were very accessible and entry was a breeze. Very comfortable stay and will book again given the chance.

Wonderful house

The house was adorable. So cozy and clean. The beds were very comfy. We arrived much later than expected due to a rental car mixup at the airport. When we arrived at the house we were ELATED to find a few bottled waters in the fridge. It was very much appreciated.

We loved our stay. It was very comfortable and clean. The kids loved exploring. The baby was even easily entertained. I was very impressed. We will definitely look into staying again in the future.

Great place to stay, would stay again. communication with the owners was easy and quick to respond. Only things to bring to attention is no TV and water pressure in the shower is low. Other than that we had a great stay.

The house was spotless, very well appointed and comfortable. We were greeted with complimentary snacks and bottled water which was very much appreciated and handy. Cindy was quick to respond to questions and we'd happily stay again if we were in the area.

Graduation weekend

My son graduated from Seton Hill, we are from Texas and our first time in the Pittsburgh area. We were about 20 min away-we were aware about the drive and location. The location was peaceful, relaxing and very cozy. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality time with family. We rested and cooked! It was a nice couple of days! Clean and comfortable. There was no tv, we didn’t mind since we all had our phones and we were able to stream- it forced us to spend quality time. excellent weekend!

Great place to stay!!

We loved our stay and appreciate all the nice thing’s available. There was water, coffee, cookies and toys for my baby niece who loved playing with them. And she now has a new favorite book about a llama ! Very nice place. It was super clean !

Best home EVER!!!!

Wonderful, Wonderful and, did I mention
WONDERFUL!!! The home is so comforting and lovely..I felt right at home, right away! Anything you could think of, was there. From dishes to spices to the most incredibly comfortable King-size bed. I had to move to Florida to take care of my father; so, to reconnect with my husband
that bed was important 😉 The response time from Chet was immaculate and, Cindy, there are no words. She literally thinks of EVERYTHING a woman could need! I feel blessed that I found this home and I Promise you will NOT be disappointed!! 
.only 10 minutes from Arnold Palmer airport, just an FYI 😀 Thank you Chet and Cindy for welcoming us into your home and over-extending yourselves!!

Home away from home

Lovely remodel. Sparkling clean. Central air. Open concept in living area. Large bedrooms-one on main floor-no stairs! Close to mammoth park and a little store. Great yard-twinkling fireflies. Close to the road with convenient parking-easy to pack car. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thank you.

Great place!

The house had all amenities and was exceptionally clean. There was a problem with the knob on the shower and the owner was there immediately to remedy the problem. The backyard was perfect for a fire and family time!
