Why pay New York City's luxury hotel prices when you can stay in a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment in the heart of the city for half price? Located within footsteps of many major attractions including Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Broadway Theater District, and three city blocks from Grand Central Station, my two-bedroom apartment is ideal for anyone exploring our great city while saving money. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is located on the 4th floor of a walk-up building. There is no elevator.

Worst apartment stay ever!
Four flight walk up to the tiniest apartment!
Barely a kitchen no pots and pans, two mugs for a family of four, two tiny towels and a giant water bug greeted us!
The windows donât open at all so very claustrophobic.
WiFi works occasionally but weak and so tv experience was frozen most of the time!
Best part is that there is an adjoining glass door which connects two apartments and is only made private by a curtain!
We met our other neighbor by speaking through the thin frosted door and could clearly see each other if we got close enough! Very creepy and not private at all!
No help was given to rectify any of these issues by Vrbo and was hung up many times by their complaints staff who are only on the side of the owner not the renter.
I will never use Vrbo again and advise anyone reading this to do the same.
Worst experience ever!!
I stayed with a friend while we were working in midtown for the summer. The location was the best part of this apartment, only a couple blocks away from grand central station which has quick access to anywhere in NYC. The apartment was as described in the photos, notably there is AC in both roomâs windows that works well and is a blessing in the summer! The kitchen is small but great for cooking, we used the stove often and had no problems. The location felt very safe and the beds were comfortable.
The primary drawback was that there is no laundry in the building, which is relatively common for nyc. But, for our 8 week booking the cleaning fee was significant and there was no change of bedding or towels, which would have been nice to include especially due to absence of laundry. I would have given the stay all five stars if the cleaning service reflected what we paid in the fee. The WiFi was also often too slow to do work online or even stream a TV show, but this wasnât a problem typically since we were working in the office. Lastly, we did not receive check-in info or any communication until less than 24 hours before check-in, which was reasonably stressful since VRBO said we should receive communication at the latest within 72 hours.
However, overall the apartment worked great for a summer in NYC and I would reccomend others stay with the heads up on laundry, wifi, and check-in.
