Welcome to the Tower Suite! On the 3rd floor of the Manor House, the Tower Suite is situated with one queen size bed and a comfortable convertible futon and provides awesome views from the observation deck of the tower! With modern heating and air conditioning, a 72â vintage soaker claw-foot tub, and a kitchenette with appliances the Suite is stylistic and comfortable. The authentic 3rd floor of the Manor House has headroom limitations so this Suite is not for the super tall!
While the room was pretty sufficient, the bedroom walls are very pitched and even 2 shortish people (5â and 5â3) bumped our heads navigating the bedroom. We never received check-in information from the host.Didnât know where to parkNeeds more lighting in the front yard for safety Wasnât told which room was ours so we had to try our key on two doors on top floor( a plaque with Tower Room would help)There was random hair on bedsheetWhen we exited in the morning, the trash bag that was left from the previous night was scattered on the porch probably by a raccoonWe decided to stay only one night instead of our planned two.
We did light cooking & the studio kitchen met our needs. We enjoyed long soaks in the big ole claw foot tub. My bed was comfy. My sister was fine on the futon in the main room. I loved how quiet and private it was at the house. The location was conveniently located with plenty of restaurants, and shops with in 5 to 10 min. I would stay again.
No silk flower arrangements or annoying attempts at decorating. The space was clean, exactly as described, the kitchen space was helpful, and the bed a welcome respite. The only thing that would make it better is a Keurig! Gotta have brewed coffee first thing!
